I was looking for a new massage gun for after workouts, and this one certainly does the trick! It's easy to hold, and I love how compact it is- fits well in my gym bag! I have used some of the larger massage guns, and sometimes they can be a bit too much for me. It seems to be a great value in comparison to some of the other big brands out there! This one hit the sweet spot for me, and I'm a lot less sore after my workouts now. Here's a breakdown of what I've discovered: Air 2 Mini vs Theragun Mini I've purchased many massage guns over the years, and I always liked the size of the Theragun Mini. I was very impressed to see that the Air 2 is very comparable in feel and usage. When I used them simultaneously, I couldn't tell the difference. Power and Battery Life Both massage guns are quickly rechargeable. The Theragun has a battery life of approximately 1-2.5 hours while the Bob & Brad Air 2 Mini lasted for about 4 hours before needing a charge. Both massage guns have 3 different power modes and seem pretty equivalent to me. Price The biggest difference between the Air 2 vs the Theragun Mini is definitely the price. The Theragun mini is over twice the price of Air 2. I was very impressed with the accessible price of the Air 2. Theragun greatest strengths: Bluetooth connectivity and a mobile app that shows daily routines and can run the device. Premium brand with a lot of fans – especially on social media. Where Air 2 Mini Shines Five top-quality attachments compared to Theragun Mini’s three. Great value for money. Overall thoughts After testing this new Bob and Brad device and considering discussed above, this device has a lot to offer for normal-use folks. If you are looking at purchasing a massage gun or adding one to your holiday gift list, you can not go wrong with Bob and Brad. This is the best massager I’ve tried. I was thinking of going with a more expensive brand, but I’m glad I went with this one for the value and effectiveness. I use it practically every day for deep muscle knots and exercise recovery. I’ve had it for 5 weeks, so I can’t speak to longevity, but I would buy it again if it got lost. It comes with a case and a variety of attachments, but the true feature is powerful and deep vibrations! Other massage guns I’ve tried feel like superficial buzzing that is more annoying than therapeutic. This is for DEEP tension relief. The battery lasts me for a while, but I tend to use it mainly on the lowest setting while pushing hard against the muscle, saving the medium and high settings for the most stubborn knots. Charging is USB-C and seems fast to me. There’s only one button and attachments pop on and off easily, so it’s a simple, intuitive design. I think the triangular body works better than the traditional gun shape for adding pressure on the muscle with your hand. Like I said, this is for deep massages!

I've tested a few massage guns, mainly aiming for 12mm amplitude massage guns to see if I can notice any differences. Bob and Brad C2 Pro Massage gun (10 mm to try heat/ice attachment head) and Mebak 3 (12mm) were the other products I've tested. Overall, I feel like the Air 2 Mini packs the most punch for the size/price and is most portable out of the three. C2 pro has a nice handle and the heat/ice head was nice, however, 10mm vs the 12mm amplitude on the Air 2 Mini made the difference. 10mm is personally not enough amplitude for me. Mebak 3 was too bulky and didn't offer USB C and the form factor was a bit too large for the current tech that is out. Only negative I can say about the Air 2 Mini is that it's kind of oddly shaped and the weight is not centered. Holding the Air 2 mini can feel awkward in some positions when trying to reach your back but it is manageable. The grip feels nice, but the way they have distributed the weight of the massage gun feels weird to hold at times. Otherwise, it's a great high quality product and it is the one I decided to keep. I was able to use the $20 coupon as well which is a nice discount.

I purchased the Bob and Brad mini to hopefully loosen a very tight glute. I thought I probably needed something that had the depth penetration of Theragun but wasn't willing to pay that much on my first foray into massage guns so went with the B & B , but lo and behold on the very first page of the operation manual I see Theragun and Bob and Brad, see pic. I am now assuming both brands use the same manufacturer who fricked up the manual for B & B. The gun is powerful and quite quiet even at highest setting (3). It is descibed as being perfectly shaped for ease of hold. I'm afraid that is a bald faced lie. It feels nice in the hand, but the slight indent in the otherwise smooth surface doesn't allow for a firm grip. so my fingers slide right toward the piston constantly. It only arrived today so can't say yet that it has helped my glute problem, but I have high hopes.
