I have fine hair, but still a lot of it and it tangles very easily. I've tried many, many brushes over the years - and several were quite pricey (e.g. Mason Pearson, Fekkai, etc.) but None have come close to working as well as this brush to so easily de-tangle my hair, without pulling and breaking it! And, after brushing, my hair looks exceptionally well-groomed and shiny. The bristles also feel great on my scalp!

I have purchased at least 15 paddle boars hair brushes in an attempt to replace the one I am currently using and have been using for about 8 years since it was recommended to me after my first Brazilian Blowout. Needless to say the brush was showing it's age & when it finally falls apart I needed to have a replacement ready. This is IT! The weight is perfect, the feel in my hand is perfect, it reaches completely through my long thin color treated hair leaving it shiny & healthy looking. I use it for blow drying and the heat doesn't seem to effect it. I just purchased another as an extra to have on hand so I never have to go "on the hunt" again. Without a doubt the best hair brush purchase I've ever made on Amazon. Get one!

The brush works well with the combination of boar bristles and wire for general brushing but if you want it for getting into your scalp the shorter bristles could be an issue.

This brush says for use with extentions. You absolutely CANNOT us it with extentions. I already returned it!

I got this to use with my new hair extensions and was shocked how good it was. No tangles at all. My little girls are obsessed too. I’ve never had a brush get tangles out of their hair as good as this and the boar bristles smooth at the same time so it leaves a nice finish.
