This is very nice. It was my error, but I had to get an adapter, and the attachment to the intake hose is the wrong type for my connector. The connector that came with it is a female, mine is a male. I got it to take the intake attachment that came with this diverter. I just have to make sure it's on. It's very tight and hard to get attached. It was my errors. Once I got everything attached, I've had no additional problems. Just make sure to check your connectors.

I have purchased 3 of these in a year and a half, mostly because I didn't take the time to look up a better one. The first two sprang leaks in a short time with little use, the third, I got in the mail a few days ago and finally just hooked it up, today, on my day off... It leaked right out of the box. Yes, I used plumber tape, if I switch the old one back on, it doesn't leak in that spot, just where the gasket has either been pinched, cracked or come out of alignment inside the body, where you turn the handle to chose the waters route. Just junk.

Nice product worked well for a while but it's starting to shoot water everywhere and not just from the faucet where the water comes out the levers that turn the water on and off and where the hose would connect is just shooting water and there's no way to stop it unless you already maybe Puddy it but that's still not a great solution so I'm having to replace

I ordered this product two times before. First time was 8 months ago - the top piece kept detaching from the bottom piece. It would just fall off when trying to adjust it. I figured an error in the making of the product so ordered another. That one was great! it worked perfectly for the purpose I bought it. Unfortunately it only lasted about 8 months and like other posts, this black hard stuff came from the lever pushing it out so the water sprayed every where. Maybe I switched it while water was running to cause that but I am sure it is because gunk built up in it over time. It would be okay for me to have to replace it after multiple uses even after only 8 months IFFF they sent it the way they sent the second one I bought. This time was the worst because it is the perfect fit for what I need it for but they sent me a small bag of broken pieces. Even somebody who isn’t really handy could tell that the plastic on the lever was broken and it wasn’t even attached. I returned one and I ordered a second just to try my luck and second one came together, new and worked right. So far, 2/4 of my purchases in the past year came without any broken/defective pieces. It’s just a process of having to order and see if they send you one that’s not broken. Unfortunately, I may just have to find this from another place that is more consistent unless they can fix their process of checking product before sending products out. My question is do they just ship off the ones that are returned? It looks like somebody returned this and they just put it in a small bag and sent it back out. I hope they don’t do that when they receive this one because I had to return it for my refund.

It does what it's supposed to. I needed this for my portable washing machine. At first i thought it didnt fit because when the hose was placed on the extended valve the white rim did not got over the ball locks causing the hose to pop off and water gush everywhere if the faucet was on. Then realized all i had to do was give the white piece on the hose a little push until it click locks in place over the balls securing it on the valve. No issue's now.

Easy enough to install. Needed to buy an adapter since I didn't realize this was designed to fit an outside threaded faucet. The diverter body and snap coupling fitting on the side are metal (though definitely not brass) but the little handle and aerator cap are both pretty flimsy plastic. The aerator cap had chips in it and the internal parts (screen, diffuser, etc) were also pretty poorly put together. I replaced that whole bit with a far better quality metal one I picked up at the local hardware store. Then there was the added expense of having to buy the female end of the snap coupling so I could actually connect my portable washer to the faucet. Tried to go cheap but ultimately spent more. It at least does function properly without any leaks (although the side spout really restricts water flow) and it is a convenient little contraption but all the extra effort and expense getting it to work properly really isn't worth it.
