I wanted an extension cord that would disappear in my yard for a Christmas inflatable that is about 80 feet away from an outlet on my house. So when this product became available, I decided to order it. Here is what I found: 1. the cord is actually easy to work with in cold weather. Being flexible allowed me to easily install the cord around plants and along a metal fence. 2. The black color of this cord does disappear into the background of the soil in the yard. For me, this is perfect. It may not be good if you are locating it where people could trip. In that case, you would want a bright color. As it is, I have mine in bushes and along a fence that people would NOT be crossing or walking along. 3. My inflatable draws 300 watts so it is well inside the limits of this extension cord. I am pleased with the cord and its performance and I would recommend it if you have need for a long and low power extension cord.

These shorter extension cords are fantastic for a wide range of uses. I needed both of the ones in the package I received to connect a couple of computer monitor power cords that were just a bit too short to reach the power strip where I intended to plug them in. These allowed just enough extra length to reach it, and were simply perfect for my use. I am sure there are many other things that this could be used for, and I'll likely need to order even more once I determine other things I can use them for around the house. Also, they really seem well-made to me, which was a very pleasant surprise. Would certainly recommend!

If you need a little extension, get these, it helps and is pretty thick and high quality, and it is not super long to get in your way, which is the worse thing ever. If you need a little more room get it you will not hate it.

While it is possible to find inferior extension cords, almost all cords of this type (three prong indoor/outdoor) are gonna be fine. These are no exception. The strain relieve at the plugs is a little heavier duty than some, but on the other hand that means the male plug will stick out of the wall a bit further. That's not an issue unless you will have them behind a bookshelf or something like that. I like cords that coil easily and don't have a lot of memory. These don't meet that standard, but one would have to spend a lot more to get that kind of quality. They are ETL listed. That means an independent lab (in this case Edison Testing Labs) has determined that their design is safe. Typically, I give four stars that meet expectations. I'm gonna give these a fifth star because the current list price is pretty good.

What do you want in an extension cord? I want a thick cord with heavy ends. I want it to be able to take some heat and maybe a little abuse. These extension cords are everything you'd want in a simple but essential home product. It's heavy and thick. It's made of solid materials and is a great value. I'm using extention cords all the time. My wife looks at my extension cords and asks, "What do you need all of these extension cords for?" I won't know until I need one. DEAR! I highly recommend these excellent extension cords!
