It's OK. I wanted to love it, and it's good for the price, but not perfect. I ordered this because I needed a nursing friendly dress fast. I wish it came in XS, I ordered small and it's a bit too big for me as I expected. The quality is not bad, but the tie straps didn't line up nicely making it a little awkward. The photos are misleading regarding the slit, for me there is no slit as the wrap pieces overlap all the way giving it a very straight and flat look. Overall this read too casual on me when I was hoping for something more luxe. I got the "golden" which does look like the picture, but is really more brownish than gold. Maybe a richer color would be better.

This dress is super cute! I’m 5’7 165lb’s 8 months post partum so finding a flattering dress can be tricky right now but I think I found a contender for the wedding I’m attending in October. It’s long so you will need heels and the slit is flattering. It’s pretty thick material which I like. I’m glad I went with a large instead of sizing down.

This dress is so cute and so flattering!! I got the brown one for family pictures and I was testing to see if I wanted to get it as a bridesmaid dress in the navy. I WANT TO GET IT IN EVERY COLOR! I’m not a huge velvet fan, but this dress is so soft and GOOD quality. It’s thick and stretchy in all the right places so it fits very well. The slit is also not crazy either if that is something you’re worried about. I only have to be mindful of it when I’m sitting. It’s great for elegant parties, family pictures or church.

I ordered this dress back in October and just wore it to a wedding I was in this past Saturday, 11/9/2024. I ordered this dress in black, and while it is a beautiful, flattering dress at a great price point, it dyed my skin BLUE. I’m not sure how this happened as I didn’t sweat (it was chilly outside). But my entire rib cage, back, and my thighs had blue patches from the dress. I scrubbed and scrubbed to get it off as soon as I noticed it, but it took 2 showers to get it to completely come off and as a result, some of my bed linens are stained as I thought I’d gotten all of the dye off. I have reported an issue to the seller— just waiting to hear back because I feel like I should be refunded and others should be aware so that way this doesn’t happen to them. It’s disappointing as this is a pretty dress, and I hoped to rewear it at some point, but I won’t be able to. I’ll update my review if/when the seller replies. ***11/15/2024 update: seller was prompt in reaching back out to me and refunded me for the cost of the dress. I really appreciate that! I have updated my review to 3 stars as a result of their great customer service and timeliness in replying. I am still sad about the dress as I’d hoped to rewear it, but I am glad the seller was able to work with me. Thank you!!***

This rating is based on my 1st order: I ordered the burgundy. The color and heavier velvet material that made it feel more luxurious than expected, but it wore very comfortably. I got lots of compliments. Although it's short-sleeved, it's not something I'd recommend for a hot summer event. 70 degrees would be okay if you're not going to be moving all over the place but 80 degrees...better stay your butt inside. I'm 5'2" and it was way too long but I just wore it with my highest heels and it was barely lifted from the sweeping the ground. (The length would be better for someone at least 5'6".) I usually wear an XXL, mainly for my larger mid section, but I got this in an XL and it draped nicely for a flowy fit. (I could do a large for a more form-fitting look.) The tie is placed a bit too low for my height and the inside button to hide your cleavage is a bit high, but still a great dress. >>> 2nd order: I ordered another color to take advantage of a sale but it arrived with pet hair all over it. I was unable to try it on because I'm allergic. If you're going to resell a previously returned item, at least make sure it's in new condition! I had to return it.
