When I saw this headboard, I secretly hoped it would look so nice that I’d never go looking for a higher end version of it and could just keep it forever. It doesn’t look as nice as that, but it does look pretty nice for the price point and much nicer than a blank wall. Whereas a high end version of this headboard would have disguised the seams better so that the long wood pieces aren’t so obviously glued together, this headboard does not do that and you can clearly see where there are very different colors of wood brought together in the top rail, for instance. The chevron design should look patchwork, but the top rail should at least pretend to be a solid piece of wood. When I have space, I might restain it entirely and see if I can disguise those seams better. Aside from that, the headboard was shipped very well packaged and nearly intact except for putting the legs on. The instructions and hardware are similar to IKEA furniture, and no additional tools were needed. It was easy to put together, and I could have done it by myself, but because it was King size a helper was suggested and very useful. I appreciated that it came with hardware and instructions to attach it to a wall or a metal or a wood bed frame. Aside from the obvious seams, the staining is lovely and even, and when put together the whole thing feels heavy, sturdy, and well constructed. I think it’s an incredible value for the money and the fact that you can get anywhere near this look for this price is really great. When I stain the nightstands to look similarly patchwork, it’s going to look stunning in here. So while it may not fool anyone into thinking it’s high end furniture, it’s still a lovely headboard and I can recommend buying it. ... show more

I rarely write reviews on Amazon, but I’m in the middle of building this bed, and I felt compelled to write. First off, I was blown away by the quality for the price. The wood is solid, sturdy, and has a beautiful natural shine. Second, the packaging was so streamlined, and everything was clearly labeled. The stickers labeling each part were even facing inward, so you don’t have to worry about peeling off the stickers and having residue stickiness because they’re all facing a direction that will never be seen when assembly is complete. Additionally, the instructions couldn’t be more clear! All to say, I thought this would take me hours to build, and I’m about half way through and it’s been 15 minutes. I’m really surprised this isn’t more expensive. This is such a great bed frame, and for less than $400 it really blows everything else at this price point out of the water aesthetically. It’s sturdy, easy to put together, and overall nice to look at.

This thing is a beast very heavy which makes it very sturdy and its easy to put together. I opened the box out side and carried it in because it was too heavy for me by myself and im 6ft 250lb male. Amazingly there arent very many pieces and i put this together once i had all pieces inside in about 25 min. This is way sturdier than the big furniture store i frequent and is the quality of the 1-2k ones there. One issue and its not that big is if you have a low profile mattress like my 10 inch all latex you can tell where the center support is because the slats although solid have flex and the center support stop the flex in that area(queen may not flex as much as the king). Most smaller people,firmer memory foam,hybrid or just taller profile mattresses prob wont notice. Most wont even notice this but its easily solved by either getting a 1/4 or 1/2 inch sheet of plywood or what i did (cheaper) get 3 or 4 2x4's and make added support underneath without even needing to screw into frame. Again most wont notice this but i roll around all over my king bed as a lone sleeper and its only mildly noticeable. I still rate this the best bed frame for the money and even triple the money . I am going to purchase a queen one next ... show more

I have nothing negative to say at all about this bed frame. It's just perfect. Couldn't tell you how many months we were looking and this was not only the most beautiful one we found, but one of the most affordable - and REAL WOOD..not cheap compressed wood chip or particle board. This will last forever. If they had more furniture from this manufacturer for other parts of the house I'd buy up instantly. ... show more
