I was in the market for a Mid Century Modern credenza to add some style and storage to my studio apartment. When this was offered on Amazon it had a release date in mid September, 2024. I got it 3 weeks ahead of the initial estimated delivery date and was refunded $50 because of new pricing. It came in a very large box that weighed about 120 pounds. Definitely a two person job just getting it out of the box. Once out, however, it was a breeze to attach the legs, which was the only assembly required. Once righted and positioned, the cabinet filled the spot perfectly. As advertised, the credenza is made of solid wood, the legs are black metal and the color is walnut. The two doors sport soft-close hinges and magnetic latches. The three drawers are basic, but functional. The shelves appear to be adjustable, but not easily so. They are screwed into place. This is NOT a flimsy piece of junk that you’ll have to replace if someone looks at it hard. It’s solid, functional, and stylish and I highly recommend it. ... show more

The product comes mostly assembled, just need to screw on the metal legs. It is a solid wood, heavy duty feel but still very simple to move with 2 people. Perfect size for a coffee bar!

I’m pleasantly surprised by the quality of this credenza. We’ve been looking for two years for a high quality vintage credenza that we would have for decades but just never found one. So we finally settled on ordering one online of unknown quality. First I love that there was no assembly (besides attaching the feet). It is much more solid than I hoped it would be. Easy to assemble, only need to attach legs. Solid. Ours did arrived damaged on the inside because one side of the cabinet shelf wasn't properly packaged (other side was) making the wood shelf get knocked out of placed and knocking around during shipment, causing bent metal shelf anchors (will need replaced, no fixing those) and large indented scratch inside the cabinet. Thankfully outside was not damaged. Great piece, but spent decent amount of money on damaged product that could have been easily avoided if it was properly packaged for shipment. It was shipped with the legs off, but it was super easy to put them on. I love the style. For solid wood at this price, I’m happy. The quality of the wood and the walnut color is to die for, although, the color is somewhat darker than in the picture. Still very nice regardless. I've tried researching this brand because I've been absolutely smitten with every piece I've bought in their Georgina "Teak Brown" motiff. Apparently there are several, unrelated BME furniture brands despite me having never heard of any of them. One is Toronto-based, one is Vietnam-based, the one here hails from a nondescript location, and one in Cincinnati, Ohio. Good grief, and BME apparently stands for "Buying Made Easy". Wherever you are from, I love you and stop being so secretive. You guys are on the right side of furniture-buying trends and you deserve the recognition. Shipping near-fully assembled furniture in this age of "lets make everything a LEGO set yay because we have no jobs and 14 hours of unpaid labor sounds fun". Second, solid wood furniture that is durable, well-packaged, tastefully chic, and sturdy in the price range of lower quality MDF, are you kidding me? Completely based. I have the coffee table, two nightstands, an end table, the sideboard, and the credenza is on its way. Not a single one of these had any damage in shipping. The look is undeniably MCM but the tasteful geometrics of the carved teak-brown drawers actually give it an art deco feel as well. I have no guilt having this ALL OVER my apartment. I never thought you could blend elements of MCM and art deco and have the result be anything but corny and lacking sensibility. That doesn't mean you should go hog wild with art deco decor. It's really important to lean into the MCM roots and find ways to make these solid acacia beauties stand out. There's MDF furniture here and on sites like Wayfair & Anthropologie at QUADRUPLE this price point and they are absolutely trash. Solid wood for these prices AND reliable quality is a godsend. I honestly thought that combination was four figures minimum these days. If you can nab any of these on Prime Day it's an absolute steal. Please make a bookshelf so I can die happy. ... show more
