My toddler is 2 1/2 years old and she started climbing on her crib so we knew it was time to upgrade. We didn't want to spend too much money on something she will grow out of quite quickly but wanted her to start experiencing sleeping like a big girl! This bed was affordable as I am a single mom, and my daughter loves it. It was easy enough to put together as me and my mom were able to do it within an hour. Some of the holes are hard to line up so TWO PERSON ASSEMBLY seems like a must. It does not hold a lot of weight it seems so be careful of you parents leaning on it. Tricky to put together with 2 people. One side rail and bolt wouldn’t connect, and the rail piece splintered apart and we can’t use it. My son just hit his head on the wall because we had to push the bed against the wall-missing a side rail. I’m going to contact the manufacturer but very disappointed ... show more
