The assembly is very simple and took about 20 minutes. The chair base is strong and the 360 swivel works. The cushion is very comfortable and padded, so you cannot feel the frame of the chair through the cushion.

First of all I should say that it's tiny much smaller compared to a regular papasan from the 90s I got this one because it just happened to be a tiny bit cheaper than a regular papasan on Walmart. It took about 5 minutes to put together it's beautiful sturdy and being smaller than I expected is actually better it's less cumbersome. I like also that the top part attaches to the bottom which is different than typical papasan chairs. A lot of the pictures of people's reviews on here are not providing accurate representation of how it looks the pictures on here make it look like the pillow is too oversized and frumpy and not a good looking chair but it is ... show more

Easy to assemble. I’m 6'0", 170 lbs, and the size is great. I can add a back cushion if I want to sit up straighter, or a small one for neck support when I want to rest my head. I can comfortably cross my legs and curl up in it—it fits me perfectly. The structure and materials are solid, and the cushion fabric feels durable. However, the padding in the center could be improved. I plan to add a thin cushion underneath the main one to make it more comfortable.
