I bought this frame for a guest room. I wasn't sure what to expect that this price point, but my partner and I are very impressed! It's a beautiful color and well-finished, very smooth. It feels quite sturdy, and as it won't be used daily as it's in the guest room, I expect it will last a long time. Pros: - Sturdy—love the center bar that is hidden in the center of the frame under the mattress, rather than at the sides like some cheaper frames have - Wood looked to be good quality - Attractive Cons: - The slats. They are unfinished wood, came needing to be sanded, and most importantly have NO give. They make for a stiff sleeping experience. I would recommend buying a better set of slats elsewhere. Our main bedroom has a set from Ikea that we like. Good to know: - Assembly wasn't hard, necessarily, but it did feel like it required two people. Overall I think this is a great value, especially if you can get it on sale! ... show more

We bought this bed frame for my daughter's room. It didn't have any reviews at the time so I was a little nervous. I see it has some other reviews now that seem good too. I just want to say this bed frame is beautiful. It is very simple, but that is what we wanted. We bought the darker stained one, which matched wonderfully with her other furniture. The texture of the wood is so smooth and solid. Her 16 yr old friend put it together for her, very simple. I don't usually write a lot of reviews, but I was so impressed that I wanted to share my happiness in the quality and beauty of this product. The bed itself is very very sturdy, I just might recommend you get rubber feet if you are placing it on a hard floor because I can tell it will slide a bit. Overall I just love this bed, so happy we bought it and it's just a wonderful addition of beautiful real wood furniture. We will be getting two more, so I hope they come in stock soon. :) ... show more

I am always skeptical of low priced items being cheap quality. This item seems to be everything that they say it to be. The wood is beautiful and strong and the color is perfect. The center support rail is a solid metal piece. It is well constructed all the way around. The wood slats are real wood slats and the spacing is perfect so the mattress doesn’t slip through anywhere. This bed frame is all I wanted it to be and I am extremely pleased with my purchase. Such unbelievable quality and workmanship in such a low price speaks volumes for this company. This is a shockingly good bed for the price - a million times better and cheaper than anything you’ll get from IKEA. Very sturdy, the instructions for assembly could not have been clearer or easier to understand, and all the parts come pre-packaged and labeled according to the instructions + EXTRA screws and hardware in case you lose any (and there are no mistakes in the instructions!). I was expecting a hot mess from this bed frame but am really really happy with it and have been receiving compliments from visitors. Looks like a much more expensive MCM bed than what it actually is. My only two complaints are the slats are a little rough and could potentially give you a splinter, and the caramel color stain is not as even or consistent as I would like, but it’s not at all bad - and I’m a perfectionist - but for the price I am more than overjoyed to overlook these two things, the bed still looks great. Highly recommend if you hate fussy bed frames and just want something that looks nice and minimal and is sturdy and easy to put together. ... show more

The instructions could have been a little better. In the beginning , I wasn't sure which way the legs turned, but it is a simple construction, not too hard to figure out. Easier, of course, if you have another set of hands. Time will tell how this holds up. The slats seem a little IFFY to me as they are some kind of layered wood. And like with all new beds nowadays , it has that middle bar to help hold them up. This is advertised as an 800 lb. capacity. I don't think that's accurate. I actually LIKE the look of engineered wood. Unlike MDF, at least it is REAL and not paper, plastic, or that compressed wood garbage. I'm a little concerned about the integrity of the legs having so many holes in them. Glad I bought a 2yr. protection plan just in case. I really wanted the nightstands that matched, but they were out of stock. ... show more

Great value. Easy to assemble. Looks awesome in the room. I put this together all by myself while my hubby stood by and commented on what a great job I was doing. It was a bit to get the ends on with only me. I used only the tools provided. It was a nice velcro for the slats. The middle bar offers center support. The color is good. I bought many beds on Amazon and I don’t recommend any of the metal ones because they tend to get wobbly and fall apart easily. However, this wooden frame has been absolutely excellent!
