Beautiful bed frame and headboard! It looks better in person. The directions were excellent. Some of the best I've ever used! The company obviously invested time and money into producing them. I generally dislike putting furniture together but this was honestly fun. It took some time, but there was very little struggle. The screws all lined up nicely and the pieces went together flawlessly. The design combined with the directions means there is little room to mess it up. I put it together alone, and from unboxing until completion took almost three hours. The only part I needed help with was attaching the headboard to the frame. The headboard is too heavy to hold and screw in. The adjustable headboard height is nice too. The finished bed is sturdy and very quiet. It looks nice too. I'm a bit concerned that pillows may slide down between the headboard and the top of the mattress, but I'm waiting for my new mattress to stop smelling before I make the bed. The color is nice with quiet a bit of variation in the wood tones, so it matches my existing "acorn" color. The design works for midcentury modern, bit it could lean Farmhouse if that was your preference. Amazon offered a Limited Time deal on this, so I got a bargain, but even at full price, this is worth it. I will definitely explore other products from this company when I need them! ... show more

Ok, so I had an Ashley set for a long time. It was bulky and PLYWOOD. We threw it away and ended up getting the metal black frame also from Amazon. That thing creaked and broke in 4 months. I then slept on the floor fir half a year refusing to purchase anything. Then this came along. Woof. BUY IT. It affordability AND quality are equal. I personally wanted to spent under 200, but I took the leap. Pros: 1. QUALITY 2. BEAUTIFUL 3. GREAT HARDWARE 4. INSTRUCTIONS WERE EASY. I DID IT MYSELF IN 1.5 HOURS AND ABOUT 45 WAS WITH A 5 YEAR OLD NEEDING TO HELP. 5. GREAT FOR TALL AND SHORT PEOPLE 6. SOLID WOOD 7. CONSTRUCTION IS AMAZING Cons: 1. THE SECOND INSTRUCTION WAS MISLABELED. THERE ARE HELPFUL HINTS, BUT MOSTLY PICTURES AND LETTERS. THE SEPARATOR TO THE NAIL WAS NOT LABELED RIGHT AND WAS CONFUSING, BUT LUCKY FOR PICTURES. 2. I’ve gone through multiple bed frames. They always squeak and/or break (last one was metal and the welds broke). When i got this, i was EXTREMELY surprised and happy to find the entire bed frame is solid wood, with high quality hardware. So far, no squeaks and has felt extremely sturdy. Assembly was quick (i did it alone). Size wise its perfect. I love the titled headboard for support when sitting up in bed. Overall, an amazing value for the price. I bought this bed in the fall of 2024 and it’s broken on me twice. The last time was irreparable and the wood actually broke apart. I was madly in love with it. It’s gorgeous in person and honestly fit my needs exactly for about a year and then the first break happened at the support under the bed, I used wood glue to re stabilize the bed but now the threads in the wood in other areas no longer hold; both at the feet and headboard. Looks Sturdy Assembly was not difficult, it did take some time but was simple Product looks stable and durable and comfortable The packaging was amazing .They made sure product is safe during transit . I bought Dark Chocolate KING which is NOT dark chocolate but rather light chestnut. I am updating my review after 4 months of having the bed. The headboard needs to have one additional slat. I have a very tall mattress and even with that my pillows fall all on the floor because of the huge void between top of mattress and bottom of last headboard slat. I would stay away from this product. Box arrived like someone played soccer with it so I was sure there was damage. Upon opening box, there was another sealed box so that was a great relief. The packaging within that second box was terrific. Assembly instructions. I am a home builder by trade, and I found the instructions to be absolutely worthless. Not bad instructions but absurd instructions. I ditched them and used common sense. You need to exercise great patience as there are six places where you can only do a 1/4 and 1/2 turn of the Allen key so have a small stool about 12" tall where you can sit and turn the bolts for a while. ( 4 corners and two of the legs) Third, no way I am trusting these mattress support slats so definitely going to home depot and cutting two pieces of 7/16th sandy ply plywood as support. Now, finally the good. Once you pass through all that............... Wood is solid with some steel bars. Once assembled the bed looks great. Has a Pottery Barn feel to it. Not sure how sturdy it is yet but once assembled it appears to be quite sturdy. Overall great looking product if you can have patience with the assembly portion. ... show more
