The charger works great for long road trips, charging two batteries on one USB is fantastic! However the two extra batteries that came with it, barely held a charge at full capacity, and eventually started swelling... For the price though, it was nice to have a good quality charger!

I bought this to charge two batteries at a time, and it works great. I have a Sony digital camera that uses a single battery. I can continuously record for a little under an hour before the battery is drained, but there was no charger included with the camera, only a USB-C port on the camera that charges the battery while it's still in the camera. I bought 2 spare batteries so that I could pop in a new, charged battery when needed, but charging them with the camera-based USB-C was taking forever. Now with the external, 2 battery charger, I can charge one battery in the camera and 2 externally in the 2-bay charger. This way, I always have a battery with a decent amount of charge when needed, as long as I remember to take the batteries out of the charger and put them in my camera bag. The downside to this charger is that it uses the older micro-USB port for attaching to a power supply. It would otherwise get 5 stars if it had USB-C. ... show more

These BM batteries for my Sony RX10 camera worked fine until recently when both batteries began to swell (got fatter) until they would not slide into the camera battery compartment, and if pushed in all the way, they are very difficult to remove. Looking at the batteries they still looked fine, but I needed a grabbing tool to pry them out. Batteries were purchased 3 years ago, so I did get good use with them. I've purchased many BM batteries and chargers in the past, but this is the first time I've ever experience this problem with any camera battery.
