After watching a few YouTube videos of guys taking apart their brakes shooting them with blow torches and rubbing them on sandpaper, I decided to give this a try. A fellow rider turned me on to Silca when I bought a slightly used Pinarello Gan. It was already shiny when I added a coat of easy to apply sealant. Now it’s almost too slick to ride. One picture is the bike reflected in the hood of my wife’s candy apple red car. Hard to tell which is redder.

I've been riding the same e bike for 5000+ miles and would only ever clean the rotors with a damp cloth. The amount of gunk this stuff pulled out of the rotors is a miracle! Braking hasn't been this good on my bike in years!

Spray it on the chainring, cogs, derailleurs and chain. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes. You will notice it changes color to a reddish/purple when it detects grease & grime. Hose it off, let it dry, then lubricate your chain and anything else you normally lubricate.

Cleans REALLY well, but is prone to showing rust on some types of metal, despite rinsing well and not leaving it on there for more than 3-5 min. I would reorder, but proceed with caution.
