  • Great call quality!
After the second headset I'm very pleased! The first bluetooth headset arrived without the case charging display working. I contacted the company and right away they began working on my issue. Within a week I had a fully functioning replacement. This company stands behind what they sell! As for the call quality, it is impressive! I have owned other much more expensive headsets and this one performs as well as them if not better. Even while in a very loud tractor trailer (so loud I wear earplugs) this headset delivers crystal clear calls and my voice is not muffled at all. I have had other headsets that were supposed to be noise cancelling and the call quality was terrible! This one sets the standard very high! I tested both headsets and they both had the same great call quality. Buy this product with full confidence that the company will stand behind their product and the call quality will be excellent! ... show more

  • Just an absolutely perfect setup for a headset and an unbelievable price
I swore off headsets about a decade ago. I bought a jabbra for like 70$. It had a proprietary charger cable and plug - the headset was always dead when I needed it and just refused to use them. I decided to give these a shot - and it really addresses all the negs these things have - that tiny case keeps them topped off - i haven’t even needed to plug it in and it’s been a week. Sound and clarity is amazing for me, and for everyone I’ve talked to and asked - No bugs or funky behavior - this is really a perfect set ... show more

  • Please read before buying
I recently purchased the Zukumu wireless Bluetooth headset, and while it comes with a budget-friendly price tag, I've encountered some significant drawbacks that are worth considering. Size and Fit: One noticeable feature of this headset is its larger-than-average size. Unfortunately, this makes it less than ideal for users who prefer a more discreet and snug fit. The headset fails to stay securely in the ear, which can be a significant inconvenience, especially during physical activities or while on the move. Lack of On/Off Switch: A major downside to this headset is the absence of a dedicated on/off switch. It operates on a simple premise: on when taken off the charger, off when on the charger. This design choice may seem convenient, but it poses a problem for users who want more control over the device's power status, especially when it's not in use. Connectivity Issues: The most frustrating aspect of this headset is its unreliable connectivity. Once on the ear, it struggles to maintain a stable connection. During calls or while listening to music, the headset intermittently announces "connected," disrupting the user experience. This continuous interruption is not only annoying but also affects the overall quality of calls and audio playback. Summary: In conclusion, the Zukumu wireless Bluetooth headset may seem like a steal due to its affordable price, but it's a classic case of "you get what you pay for." The larger size, lack of a proper on/off switch, and persistent connectivity issues make it difficult to recommend this product for everyday use. While it may suit some users on a tight budget, those seeking reliability and a more user-friendly experience might want to explore other options in the market. If you're willing to compromise on these aspects for the sake of affordability, this headset might still be worth considering. However, for users prioritizing a seamless and hassle-free wireless experience, it's advisable to invest in a higher-quality product. ... show more

  • Robust connectivity under adverse conditions, incredible clarity and battery life
Its compact size permits wearing it beneath personal protective equipment such as a hard hat, a welding helmet, and although I haven't tried it yet, probably a motorcycle helmet. This makes it incredibly useful when coordinating dangerous tasks by communicating clearly with spotters and / or equipment operators out of your line of sight while keeping hands free to operate equipment or position workpieces. The range from the paired device is incredible for Bluetooth technology. I have accidentally gotten about 175 feet from a connected device before the audio starts to get choppy or "burbly" in open unobstructed terrain, and between 75 and 100 feet where the signal passes nearly perpendicular through typical residential wood-frame construction with drywall and exterior non-metallic siding. The battery life is at least 16 hours with a talk duty cycle of about 4 to 6 hours and the rest on idle standby. I charge it nightly, so I have never run it completely down. For those who complained about having to use the base station battery device to charge it, there is a little hard to spot rubber flap on the very bottom of the over-the ear battery and transciever compartment that, if you carefully pry that up with a fingernail, it reveals a USB-C port. The audio quality is very crisp and clean, with good apparent spectrum response so voices sound natural. I haven't tested it with high dynamic range high fidelity music yet, but the audio strength is sufficient delivered into the ear canal to overcome fairly high industrial or road ambient noise without objectionably noticeable distortion such as waveform clipping. The microphone seems to be quite sensitive, yet also more effective at noise cancellation than I expected. People could understand me when I was talking and using an angle grinder on thin steel, which is incredibly noisy. I also tried standing next to a running gas engine generator, and people could not only understand me, but thought I was in the office because it canceled out the engine noise so well. The main Achille's heel I found after roughly a month and a half of daily use, is the Z (vertical) axis swivel connecting the earpiece to the battery and over-the-ear structure. After switching between ears for comfort over a long day, the swivel finally just broke despite gently switching sides. I finally took it down to the electronics prototyping lab, set the battery pack in a small jeweler's vise, and aligned it where the earpiece dangling by the speaker and microphone wires, would rest on the jaws and close up the gap as if the swivel still worked. Then I fixtured it all up carefully to hold it in precise alignment, and permanently glued the broken swivel back together in the "right-hand ear" configuration, using some JB Weld black plastic bond epoxy in the 15 15 minute set formulation. After letting this cure over lunch, I took it out of the holding jig and tried the modified repair on. I used it on a 400 mile long road trip this past weekend and it has showed no signs of secondary failure. So, two design improvements can be made, which is why I gave this 4 instead of 5 stars: 1) the vertical axis swivel to go from right ear to left ear and back, should be a stronger design. I think the plastic is too thin, which makes it too weak to resist accidental over-torque against its rotational stop, which eventually shears off and causes the two major segments to separate. Loss of this structural integrity means the over-the-ear section and the earpiece section can likely break the incredibly delicate wires that pass through this joint. The second improvement would be a softer, more "living" silicone ear canal insert that will mold itself to fit your ear. This would make it comfortable enough to wear all day long without having to switch ears every couple of hours due to the existing insert's round shape in an ear canal that is more oblong. I might just get some dental silicone and see if I can cast my own custom ear insert, as the comfort of the existing ones is the issue that led to the premature failure of the Z axis swivel. Still, overall, I'd buy another one of these. With my modification / repair, I'll probably use this until it just quits, and then note how long its useful life was. ... show more
