This is my second time buying this headset, and that alone says everything. My first BlueParrott lasted 7 years of regular use, which is impressive for a Bluetooth headset. The sound quality is excellent, the microphone does an amazing job blocking background noise, and people on the other end always hear me clearly even in loud environments. It’s lightweight, comfortable to wear for long periods, and the battery life is solid. After getting so many years out of the first one, I didn’t even consider a different brand. These headphones do a stellar job at removing background noise. Some details: Functionality: 5/5 - I got these headphones for my job, which allowed me to work from home. My WiFi at the time wasn't great, so I would regularly have to work from a coffee shop that had a ton of background noise (especially during holidays - the owners kind of went wild especially during Halloween). Despite the werewolf animatronics howling every few minutes, none of the background noise could be heard by coworkers or clients. Because these aren't noise cancelling headphones, the background noise might still be distracting to you, but if your only concern is blocking others from hearing your background noise, these are superb. Comfort: 3.5/5 - They're a bit uncomfortable, to be honest. It digs into your temple a bit. You can adjust the tension and length, but if you have to wear them for an extended period of time (such as if you have several meetings in a row), it will almost definitely start to hurt a bit over time. Audio quality: 4/5 - The audio quality is fine. Obviously these aren't going to be a great option for listening to music, but for their intended purpose they meet expectations. My only issue is that listening to audio out of only one ear can get annoying after a while. You can adjust/reverse them, so it's easy to switch ears, but then you're still just hearing out of one ear. However, while it would be nice to have noise cancelling headphones that go over both ears, a simple glance at the product images tells you that these headphones won't provide that, so the fact that you can only hear out of one ear hasn't impacted my overall rating because it wasn't a case of an unmet expectation. Overall, these headphones do pretty much exactly what they claim. They block out background noise like a charm, and the microphone still picks up your voice without making it sound weird. For that reason, despite the slight discomfort, I feel this product does deserve five stars - although I would probably go 4.5 if I could. ... show more

Now that I have used this headset in a Google Meet session, I can provide a good, factual review! Before the meeting began, I requested an audio report. I received a report of being distorted, indicating that I was driving it too hard. I tweaked the mic position further away from my mouth, and everything sounded excellent. Positioning the mic involves rotating the boom from above my eyes down to around my mouth and tweaking the mic's position by bending the flexible boom extension containing the mic on one end. Further positioning also involves placement of the headset on my head to position the mic where it needs to be. Recorded music from a music service sounds great in the earpiece. The meeting participants, of course, have varying audio quality, but were very readable, except when one participant was breathing on his microphone. Recording myself using Audacity sound recording software allowed me to discover that I could not adjust my microphone to breathe on it, a good thing to know. It took me a few attempts to connect Bluetooth to discover that I must hold the power button for two seconds to turn the power on, and two more seconds to pair the headset. My Android phone captured it while I was trying to pair it to my Linux computer's Bluetooth. I held the power button to re-enter pairing mode, allowing me to pair with the computer successfully. I have not used the BlueParrott button or software. The condition of this headset was like new, having been sold by another seller for less money. I see where I could have paid over $100 more from other sellers, as well. The headset is very comfortable to wear. It is well worth my investment to improve my experience on Zoom or Google meetings. ... show more

I’m extremely impressed! I’m almost 50 and my hearing is shot. This headset has plenty of volume and absurd clarity. The only thing wrong, is it’s little heavy. Overall, the build quality of this headset is good and it feels solid and well made. The sound and noise canceling are decent, and when it works, it performs well for calls. However, I’m not very satisfied with this purchase because the headset disconnects frequently, which is frustrating during use. I previously owned an older BlueParrott model, and that one worked flawlessly with a very stable connection, so this feels like a step backward in reliability. Because of the constant disconnecting, it doesn’t meet my expectations, especially compared to the older version.
