The media could not be loaded. I wasn't expecting this much from this microphone. This is a compact unit loaded with so many features and fun. When it arrived I had so much fun with it than my son. It has couple of voice changing option and i was having blast with the thin voice. Also the thick scary movie sound is awesome I couldn't stop myself making the devil laugh muhahahahaaa again and again. Things I Like the Most About this Items Are: * Sound quality: Built in speaker is really powerful and loud for the size. * Builtin LED color lights in the speaker: There are LED lights on behind the speaker surface which makes this mic so cool * Echo: There is an option to turn on or off the echo which provides very good sound and it makes you play with it more. * Different voice tone: There are 3 different voice changing tones: So much fun with the thin voice it is my favorite * Long battery life: It last really long hours of non stop fun. * You can record your voice on to memory card * So many connection options. I am so glad that i bought this toy for my son even though he doesn't sing and just make some sound we are having so much fun with this device. Money well spend. I purchased mic in January as a gift for my little niece. She barely used it in 6 months . I found out why today. The unit stopped working and would only turn on if plugged in to a power outlet. Once you unplugged it, it wouldnt turn on. The battery is probably faulty but im disappointed that it stopped working after a couple weeks of light use. Poor engineering. I cant return for a refund because that window has expired... but reaching out to company about a warranty. If i can get a replacement and enjoy it like other users, it will change my opinion and my review. Update 6-24, company reached out promptly and offered to replace and ship the item to me. They also apologized for the faulty unit. So customer service is a positive and usually makes all the difference. Since I received the replacement, the microphone is pairing well and works as advertised. If something were to happen to change my review, I would be shocked based on the other reviews on here. A friend went and purchased the same unit, different color, and their kid seems to enjoy it. 4 stars for price, customer service, and the product. Features arent "kid friendly", meaning the buttons arent intuitive for a 3yr old. I wish it was louder, but honestly I have nothing to compare it to. Also allows you to play radio stations if you are into singing over that, or dont want to use youtube or another music app. ... show more

It works for karaoke. It does turn off randomly after an hour or so and the sound keeps turning on and off. In terms of battery life, it lasts quite a while.
