The microphone is very light weight and fairly simple to use. It does make everyone sound like a robot initially but if you slide the remix “button” all the way down it will fix that. It paired to my phone easily and the next/previous controls work well to change from one song to another. It has a radio option but as far as I can tell it doesn’t have an antenna so it’s nearly impossible to pick up a radio station. It has a record button but I’m still unable to figure out how to record and playback. The direction are extremely vague. The reason I gave 3 stars is because the microphone will only pick up your voice if you speak directly into the top of the microphone and your mouth has to be so close that your lips are literally touching the tip of the microphone. If you speak directly into the tip of the microphone, with your lips actually touching it you will hear yourself through the speaker. However, if you move the tip of the microphone even the slightest bit away from your mouth it will not pick up your voice. If you speak into the sides of the microphone it will not pick up your voice. If your ok with having to speak directly into the tip of a microphone and holding it so close to your mouth that your lips are touching it then this microphone would be perfect for you. If you want a microphone that you can hold in a normal position and sing into it without pressing your lips against it then I highly recommend looking elsewhere. I would love to return it and purchase a different one but I bought it months ago and put it up for Christmas for my daughter. By the time Christmas came and she opened it I was past the return window. I guess I should have tested it out when I received it but I didn’t want to give my daughter an opened gift and the reviews were fairly good so I trusted that it would work properly. ... show more

I call this thing the magic mic! And it makes the time with your friends, family, coworkers! Absolutely Magical! You can sing to everyone in Your most annoying voice! You can make yourself heard for when your with a large group! You can just be the life of the party. I have take thing to every group gathering and it always gets hijacked from me by someone for hours. Yeah it’s probably meant for kids…. But I think it’s great for adults! ... show more

We have had this product for a few years, and it has held up great. The battery does seem to drain fairly quickly, but ut does come with a charger. You can adjust certain features, which is nice! Bluetooth is nice, she can play karaoke songs on it and sing along!

I bought one for my daughter and my husband loved it so much I bought one for him. They love that they can increase the volume and still sound great. The battery life is around ten hours of constant usage. Only drawback is getting both to pair with the tablet at the same time.
