I was genuinely impressed by the quality of the DJI Mic Mini. It feels very well made, has a clean, thoughtful design, and its tiny size makes it incredibly convenient to use. The noise canceling works great. Even with noise canceling turned off, the sound is much cleaner than recording with my phone's built-in microphone. When it's turned on, it does a great job of reducing background noise and makes the recording sound very clear. I bought only the transmitter (without the receiver). It connects well via Bluetooth to my computer and also to my iPhone. Just keep in mind that it doesn't work with the native iPhone Camera app. You can record audio with Voice Memos or similar apps, but if you want to record video, you'll need to use a third-party camera app (I use Blackmagic Camera). The compact charging dock is another feature I really like. It sits neatly on my desk next to my computer, keeps the microphone charged, and provides a convenient place to store it when I'm not using it. It's a small detail, but it makes everyday use much more enjoyable. Overall, I'm extremely happy with this product. The DJI Mini Mic has been an excellent addition to my content creation setup. The audio quality is a significant improvement over the built in microphones on my camera and has really elevated the overall quality of my recordings. Voices sound clear, crisp, and much more professional. One of my favorite features is how seamlessly it pairs with the Osmo Action 4. It connects directly to the camera with no need for any additional receivers or adapters, making setup incredibly fast and convenient. That simplicity is a huge advantage when you just want to start recording. I also really appreciate the ability to use it as a backup audio source. Having that extra layer of security gives me peace of mind during recordings and has already proven to be incredibly useful. This is one of the best investments I’ve made. I’ve filmed fishing videos for decades, Without a mic. This connects wirelessly to your DJI camera or any device and records great sound the fussy wind guards do impressive work. Even in the Windy City of Chicago. I like that if I put my camera underwater and bring it back up again the mic reconnects. Which makes my setup a one stop shop. Thank you DJI since 2009 I’ve used GoPro. But DJI Took me over with their action6 camera and its battery life as well as its cold tolerance both of which GoPro couldn’t come close too. Add in the mic. Just pure game changer. DJI mics are already known for great build and sound quality, so I won’t rehash that. I bought the DJI Mic Mini as a second mic to use with my DJI Pocket 3 (which came with a DJI Mic 2), since having two mics is much better for interviews. ✅ Easy Pairing & Compatibility – Pairs directly with my Pocket 3 and Action 4 (took me a couple tries the first time, but smooth after that). Also connects via Bluetooth to my iPhone 16 Pro—no receiver needed. This is a big plus when using a gimbal, since I don’t have to worry about extra weight from a receiver. ✅ Compact & Well-Packaged – Small size, comes with a pouch, USB-C cable, and charging case. Good mic under budget. I bought one for my dji osmo mobile 7p. It got a module so i didn’t required a receiver. But if you want to use it for your mobile directly, I recommend buying a pack rather than single mic. It connects to your phone only with a receiver. The recording quality is awesome. Its portable for me, easy to connect to Dji devices, The battery life is pretty decent. Comes with a wind muff to reduce wind noice and clearly capture your voice.
