    • Sad to see they don't make the pool rover anymore
First I'll point out the plastic case does not come with this filter bag. I knew this but the pic is deceiving. The bag is smaller at the hole and I can see people trying to get this thing on the pool rover frame and deciding it is too small. Fact is it is smaller at the opening but the rest of it is the right size. Now, it's fabric not steel so it does have some stretch and will go over the frame. Once you do this a couple times it goes over easily AND works better than the larger older bags. Why? the older ones are too loose and get caught in the catch closure and thats annoying. Also this bag fits really snug around the frame creating a better seal for debris. I found this to have a longer cleaning run before getting clogged like the older bags. The Pool Rover is such a simple dependable design that's lasting over 15 years now. Sad to see it's not made anymore and the only ones now are complex and prone to fail. this little guy has got me through some heavy cleaning and continuous pool cleaning over the years. ... show more

    • Putting it on is difficult...but doable.
Lots of reviews talk about how difficult (tight) it is to get on the device. Nobody is lieing! Unless you have loads of time to waste, do NOT try to install this on the holder when the cloth is dry. Do it when the cloth is wet. Other than that, after two months everything is fine

This is an excellent quality pool vacuum replacement bag for a decent price, but the only downfall is it is quite snug so you have to work a bit to get it over and onto the insert.

    • Nice having a spare
I have two bags, one is out of the bot for washing/drying, while the other is working away. Yes, it has no blue label for alignment, but that's o.k., as the seam aligns with the blue label on the frame, so no worries. Update: after a heavy early swim season with a lot of leaf pickup (my neighbor's tree -- don't get me started!), the bags have a funky smell, and not all the little lint bits are easily removable. I have washed without soap by hand, and in the washing machine, per directions, but doesn't always get all the stuff out -- discovered a trick... in the washing machine, wash the bags inside out along with any coarse towels you happen to have around -- you know, the ones that are relegated to the garage. The nap on the towels rubbing against the bags seems to loosen more small stuff. I did not add soap, but did add some OxyClean (I know the smell doesn't matter at the bottom of the pool, but I couldn't help myself!). ... show more

    • Does not fit large size AquaBot
I did a lot of research hoping that these would fit my Aquabot. I have the large, rectangle size Aquabot. These did not fit. I couldn't quite get it to fit around the band. They I realized even if I could have, the "crotch" part of the bag was too shallow. It wouldn't have been large enough to fit into the two sides. Oh well. Otherwise I think they will fit the bill for another unit if they fit. ... show more
