Description

“Pool Table Assembly” is a complete, detailed, and illustrated instruction manual for assembling almost any pool table. Mose Duane, author of A Rookie’s Guide to, “Pool Table Maintenance and Repair,” “Buying or Selling a Pool Table,” and “Playing Winning Pool” wrote the manual. The need for it came about with the realization that far too many people are talked out of assembling their own pool table because “professionals” can do a better job. Nothing could be further from the truth. Assembling a pool table is not hard, and with a little insight and this manual, any rookie should be able to do a proficient job in an afternoon. Read more

  • A Practical Well-written Guide for Maintenance and Repair of Pool Tables and Cues
I obtained this book to get a recommendation on the best level to use ( Four foot Carpenter's Level) and was drawn in by the great, practical writing and ended up reading the whole book. I have been playing pool for fifty years and have a rather keen interest in the game. I was getting ready to level my own table and after reading about that topic, since that is part of the restoration/maintenance process, I read about that as well. The next thing I know,I am writing this review. If you're a handy person with a couple of tools and attention to detail, you could save some money by following this book. On the other hand, you might realise that the people who do this well are worth what they charge. ... show more

  • A good guide book.
This is a good book for basic information and instruction on billiard or pool table assembly. The first thing I noticed that they really don't mention one of the most important tool during the process, a high quality level. Other than this, the book is a good guide to setup and assembly of a billiards/pool table and would recommend it to anyone setting up a table on there own. The author wrote another book on maintenance and repair of a pool/billiards table and is much more informative on this subject. I own another book of his Buying or Selling A Billiards or Pool Table. ... show more

  • If You Don't Have a Clue
When our church was given an extremely nice pool table for our recreation center it was completely disassembled. After picking it up we had no clue how to get it all together. This assembly guide was the key and we now have it up and running.

  • this book is great and highly recommended
If you purchased a imported slate pool table that you are going to assemble yourself, this book is great and highly recommended. Most of those tables do not come with assembly instructions. You may also want to supplement the book with installation videos on the web.
