This did not grow at all. It looks exactly as it did the day it arrived 4 months ago. No new leaf growth. Its a twig in dirt. I had high hopes for this beautiful blue plant. It was a waste of money. I do not recommend you buy this.

This picture is false advertising and since it’s the only photo used it’s exceptionally deceptive. The promised product is a flowering hydrangea with miniature blue blooms in a bonsai pot. There’s nothing in the description that explains it comes in the mail “dormant” aka rooted sticks in soil stressed out with no green anywhere and injured tips. For this price I could have gone to the gardening section at any hardware store and got a 10qt potted flowering hydrangea. Supposedly this will be the species with smaller flowers but the few other photos posted look like average size blooms, that is, if it grows at all. There are other bonsai variations from other merchants that come with pebbles and a pot. This plant is so sad that I can’t even return it, it wouldn’t live through another mail cycle. Update: less than a month and this guy is dead. Asked for a replacement and they actually said they’d charge me unless I sent the dead one back. But anyway, the second one shows up and looks even worse than the first. Should I lower my review more? Please see photos for second stick. Which also isn’t growing and only getting brittle and I returned it AGAIN. This really shouldn’t be that hard to not sell sticks in soil. ... show more

I really did not expect to receive a plant in a pot like the picture. I would have liked a few leaves but it was winter here in Florida (so not real cold). When I received my seedling it was dry and of course, stressed. I put it in a pot which was no deep enough, but I wanted in the dirt and watered. I purchased this in December, and now it’s January. It’s not in its forever home, but that’s fine for now. Watering, feeding a little, just letting it settle in and de-stress. I’ve seen Hydrangeas rebound from dead above ground to beautiful flowers. I’ve purchased other seedlings from this vendor and they’re all doing just fine. I have a room I use to get my plants started, so I use grow lights. She’s not as pretty as she will yet, but I have no regrets. All the root is not even in the ground, but there is still life in what appeared dead. There is no where I could find that says pot and are included. I guess I’m just believe in TLC before I write them off. ... show more

Followed instructions plant never did anything just a dead stick.also purchased a red dragon heart.had the same results dead stick.WILL NEVER BUY FROM HERE AGAIN.THEY JUST SEND YOU A STICK. IF I GOOD GIVE THEM A NEGATIVE 100%

Arrived quickly, little smaller than I expected, and the little guy was stressed when he got here hopefully the leaves will grow back. They were dry and burnt from the heat, but I like it.
