This worked just like it said it would. My driveway is basically a steep hill and after days of sleet, snow and rain I put it down after clearing the snow off and not long after I actually had contact with the concrete. I actually just bought another order. The pellets melt after a while, so it doesn't really prevent refreeze. I have had no issues with pitting of the concrete, and my driveway is just over 1 year old.

Have actually used this product for years. It was first recommended by my veterinarian as safe to use and allow the dogs to walk over. As I am getting on in years, this is even more important as I take them outside in icy conditions. Seems to work fast here in Tennessee where our cold temperatures aren't as cold as elsewhere in the U.S.

Purchased this for our restaurant where we have stamped concrete. In an effort to maintain the integrity of the concrete, we purchased safe paw as it was advertised as concrete safe. Two years and still looking good. While the ice melt does tend to be a little more on the pricey side compared to its competitors, it is still cheaper than new concrete!
