This is the second one of these slings I have purchased, for a second AR. I used the first sling for 2 advanced rifle classes and it performed great. The tri-glide works well and allows plenty of slack for reloads and other manipulation. Works with a variety of hardware and is very comfortable. I saw a cheap sling fail on the line which fortunately did not result in a dropped gun. This sling is worth the money if you are serious about your gear. ... show more

I originally bought their black sling locally, but I wanted something more multicam. This is very durable and will last forever. There is quite a bit of adjusting required before doing field work tho.

    • Hard to shorten without a lot of loose end

I wanted to have the sling tight after I shoulder the rifle and pull on the quick pull adjuster. However, if I do shoulder and take all the slack out using the adjuster the system is not very tight. I took a lot of slack out of various places on the sling and did finally get it fairly tight, but I feel like I had to take way too much out of the slack. They do give you the tri-sliders for securing loose ends. I'm 6'3" so it isn't a matter of height. I do think they made this sling to fit all sizes, including very large size folks. That means it can work for everyone but I do not think it is ideal for smaller (around the back or shorter arm) people. ... show more
