I have purchased 2 of these and they work great. The first one I purchased worked for a couple of years and finally stopped working, so I just purchased another one. I got a lot of epoxy on the outside of the gun and it eventually stopped working. Probably because I got epoxy somewhere where it should not be... I'm a bit of a messy artist ;) But for the price it works great! ... show more

If your like me, your tired of spending 20 bucks on some cool looking torch over the counter at your local smoke shop, only to have it stop working the first time you refill it. This one will be the lighter your looking for. Had it for a few months now with everyday use , and no problems. Visable flame length is almost a foot on highest setting, which is great to start a BBQ. And yet the lowest gives just enough to stay lit. Very good out put. The ergonomic design gives a comfortable , firm grip and the base stand make it easy to set down fast. If your looking for a Great Lighter for recreational use, art projects and of coarse, cooking. Look no further Fyi: didn't know this till the instructions stated to release all pressure in lighter befor refill. Thats a main cause for all the other ones to crap out so quick..     • Use this To light cigars.
I bought this torch to help with lighting cigars it works excellent. I use it outdoors on a windy night sitting by the fire pit when it's not so windy I use the traditional way of wood matches of the net I use the torch to help light cigars.

    • Fire hazard: torch cannot cut off the flame
The torch works fine but it cannot cut off the flame upon releasing the button when the torched is "overfilled": a small flame continues to burn even when the button is released. Even worse, the small flame is unable to spot under daylight. There is no way to tell if the torch is "overfilled" unless you try to light it up. The manual says charge for 10seconds, but make it 7 seconds to avoid "overfill". ... show more
