I am going to Ireland in June when it can be pretty chilly ( especially to a Floridian). I tested it out on a rainy weekend in NY recently! It is super lightweight with good wind resistance. I love the knit ends on the sleeves which keep out the chill. It has a rain flap that covers the snaps and a wonderful full hood to keep you dry in rain. You can also cinch it in the waist! I also paired it with a lightweight cardigan so I can layer as needed! There is pjs Ty if room if you just order your regular size. I ordered a Medium. I am 5’2” 127 lbs. I bought this rain jacket for a summer trip to Chicago that promised lots of rain. It was PERFECT. It was light weight, not hot, fully rain repellent through multiple downpours (I also had an umbrella - but let me tell you, everything that wasn't directly covered by this jacket was SOAKED - pants from knees down, shoes, socks, etc. But everything covered by this jacket was bone dry all day). It was also super flattering. Looks very chic, and you can use the internal draw strings to create waistline if you want it or leave them undone for a boxier look. The trim added a classic flair. I couldn't have been happier with this jacket, especially for the price. I researched at least 20 jackets of similar forms on Amazon, but so many reviews said the jackets either didn't fully repel rain, or looked cheap, or had a factory smell. So, when I finally settled on this one, I figured it was a roll of the dice. Well ... jackpot! There was no smell, it was cute as hell, and it did exactly what it promised.     • The Rain Jacket Is Acceptable To A Certain Limit.
This is what I was looking for. Not easy to find something this light at the length I had hope to get. Liked the deep pocket size on both sides. It is not exactly waterproof when the rain is absolutely heavy. You can feel the soaked sweat shirt somewhat wet on your back.

Super comfortable and cute while being functional. Rain and melted snow falls right off :) however isn’t the best for keeping you warm.

This coat was good for the drizzly rain I encountered on the shores of Lake Erie. It soaked thru immediately when I ran out in a Texas rain storm to save my chickens when the tarp blew off their enclosure. The coat looks nice and I like that I can cinch it at the waist. Good pockets too! The hood doesn't like to stay on, so you have to cinch it around your face, which I don't care for. ... show more

This is a really nice lightweight rain jacket that is stylish and feels like it is decent quality. I normally wear a large, but it just felt too roomy for me and the sleeves were a little long so I decided to try a medium …thanks to Amazons quick shipping. I was able to determine that indeed the medium was a better fit for me. I do not want to wear it with a sweater although I probably still could. I just need a summer/early fall raincoat for travel.. very happy with my purchase and I will wear it on the plane and put a few things I need in the pockets. ... show more

Absolutely wonderful raincoat!! It’s lightweight, 100% waterproof, wind resistant and great fit. I am 5’6” and 130 lbs and I bought a Med. Definitely worth the money!! I would buy again!!
