I bought this binder for my wife. She had a hysterectomy and wanted something to help keep her stomach supported. We ordered a beige, size XX-Large. The binder does a great job of keeping everything in place. It is wide enough to cover her entire belly. THe material is soft, stretchy, and has a good amount of thickness to it. It has a Velcro closure at the end of it. The only issue that she had with it, is that everytime she removes it, the fabric pulls apart. It then leaves fuzz all over it. She has been using it for a week and its already showing signs of wear.

This belly binder provided so much comfort and support after my C-section. It really made me feel put together and supported. It is stretchy enough to put on tightly by yourself without the help of your partner or nurse. I was so glad I had this as my hospital didn’t provide any sort of belly binder. I started using this the following day after my c section and it wasn’t painful, didn’t lay low on my incision and was actually really breathable and comfortable while still being very supportive. I would highly recommend!

This binder is easy to use and comfortable. However, the soft portion of the velcro shreds into long, fine hairs each time you take the binder off. The durability of this part is very low. If you are in need of a binder to use for an extended period of time or to keep long term for that occasional extra bit of abdominal support, you may want to look for and invest something else.

When first opened, the Velcro has a protective strip covering it so I knew the Velcro was going to be powerful. It was! It pulled up a little of the fibers when I took the belt off. It was very comfortable to wear and sturdy enough to bring relief. It was even comfortable to sit in. I haven't washed it yet to see how it holds up through a wash and dry, but I don't anticipate any problems, though I would definitely want to cover the Velcro with the provided strip to avoid a nightmare in the dryer.

I have few abdominal muscles left as a result of having polio and loosing some of those muscles and then 4 abdominal surgeries. I got this binder to help hold up my abdomen so I could be on my feet for longer periods. I wore it one day when I was already starting to hurt and then was able to wear it for 6 hours and not be in pain! Without it I would not have lasted more than 2 hours before having to sit down for support. I also appreciated the Velcro cover that I can put over the Velcro when its folded for storage. However, I am concerned that the side that the velcro sticks to will deteriorate to the point of uselessness. I have used it 3 days and the threads are pulling out of the non Velcro side already. It makes it very hard to take off as well. See the threads in the attached picture. I really hope it holds up as i am happy with the support it provides to my abdomen.

This is a very nice thick and tall medical stomach to rib cage binder to help keep things where they need to be after surgeries and also for people with hernias. It’s not so stiff that the range of motion is limited, but it is supportive enough that things are kept where they need to be, though not super compressed. Very comfortable, breathable, and glad to have this when extra support is needed around the house or going out.
