This is not a negative review so read the whole thing. When I first unboxed it, the product felt very light, and the cable to plug it in was very short. The build quality kind of set me off at first and I wasn't too excited to set it up. Fast forward another 5 minutes, I plug in the light and set it on a random part of my floor aimed at the ceiling and the light barely covered any of my ceiling and I was severely disappointed. I never read the manual before setting up and only tried one spot so I came back and decided to give it one more shot. I put the light in the far corner of my room, slightly elevated on a shelf. I turned the light on and I cant tell you how much the positioning made a difference. My entire ceiling was covered in light that matched their pictures exactly. It looks awesome. The 4 different modes are all equally as cool and the rotate feature is a must use. I am still a bit disappointed with the cable length on the power chord but the light itself is easy to set up if you do it properly, the light modes are awesome ,the rotate feature is awesome, and I ended up buying the green version of this light also. 10/10

As many others have already said, this was a total impulse buy. I live in a city where you can see MAYBE 3 stars from my window, and as a huge fan of stars/the Milky Way/etc it's been a huge bummer to not see the night sky. This night light is fantastic. I love having it on while I read my Kindle in bed at night. It's probably not light enough to read a book without any other light source, but with the Kindle (or any other e-reader) backlight ever so slightly on it's perfect. I also have two lovely kitties who are obsessed with the swirling stars! Right when I turn it on, they chatter at it and bat at the wall as the stars move by. After ten minutes or so, they curl up on the bed and stare at the ceiling, mesmerized. It's real cute. The different brightness settings are great, as is the setting to have each layer spin or stand still if you have any sort of potential motion sickness. Seriously, I can't recommend this enough for any stargazers out there. Especially if you live somewhere where you can't easily see the stars!

I’ve had this for about 3 years now and it’s honestly one of the best purchases I’ve made. It still works just as well as it did when I first got it, which says a lot. The projection is beautiful—it really does make you feel like you’re in a galaxy. It’s super calming and relaxing, and I use it almost every night to wind down. It’s actually helped me fall asleep easier because of how peaceful it feels. Anytime I have friends or family over, they always ask about it, and I’ve ended up recommending it to quite a few people. A couple of them even bought one after seeing it in person. I genuinely have no complaints. It’s simple, reliable, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Definitely worth it.

This is really great for the price. Very blue. My images show nice purple highlights on the camera, but in person it's vividly blue. The cloud/nebula effect is phenomenal when moving. The stars are not as good though. While they are bright, they're a pretty small grid effect and so they feel less like stars and more like party lights. You can fix that up yourself by introducing some noise to disrupt the pattern from the star output lens. All I did was attach a very small, thin and mangled piece of cotton over the stars lens, so that the stars are blocked in some areas and shine through in others. Combine that with the normal cloud projection and the stars look more like stars and blend in better. I tried to show the difference in my attached images, and the end result in the video. I feel like their next iteration should have three elements/projections, and that they should introduce some sort of noise factor so the stars aren't so grid-like and repetitive. Otherwise really great.

I am obsessed with stars and have been on a quest to get that star experience at home. Is this perfect? No, but it's also under $100 and a million times better than everything else I tried in this price range. I opted for the blue star/blue cloud model. The stars do not look realistic on their own, but with the clouds they look very pretty. I set it to its dimmest level and play some space music and it's pretty nice. There are two areas where it is lacking - one is that it lacks a remote (I really wish it had one) and the other is that you can't set it to turn off after a short period (I fixed this by attaching it to a timer, which will shut it off when I choose to have it turn off - usually 30 minutes) Left to its own devices it will turn off after 4 hours (too long, IMO) Pros: dimmable gorgeous cloud feature can order it with blue stars multiple settings (cloud/no cloud, stars/no stars, motion/no motion) can aim it at a ceiling or wall does not require batteries Cons: no remote stars are not realistic on their own (turn off the clouds and they are just well ordered dots) auto shutoff takes too long Overall I recommend it because at $60, it's a nice unit.

I bought this a couple years ago and to this day it’s my favorite part of the night. It works perfect and is so easy. My concern was that it would be noisy since machines tend to do that but not this one. I even like using this for my baths just so vibey.

I rarely take the time to leave reviews, but I could not pass up sharing my excitement in the hopes it inspires someone else! I don't think I have been so happy about a purchase in longer than I can recall. I LOVE ambiance and when I partner this cosmic projector (which is what I think it should be called!), with my sound machine that plays crickets, it takes me to another place of altered consciousness. In this crazy, chaotic, increasingly violent world I find it very important to recall the beauty and wonder in the world, and, as cheezy as this may sound, this little machine reminds me of that. It makes me so happy! I got the blue/blue and I am SOOO glad I chose that instead of the green/blue. I hope this lasts a long time!!! Thank you so much for this magical machine!
