I had hoped these shades would work to darken my room. When I got the shades, they were packed really well with attractive packaging. All parts were there. The BIG problem I had was with the install instructions. They were absolutely the pits. I could not understand a thing about them. I had another person look at the instructions and they gave up too. I am a college graduate and an old mechanic so I can usually figure things out. These parts made no sense and the instructions were totally worthless.
