To my knowledge, this is the original tubing mascara and I’ve been using it or Thrive (NOT the MLM) for probably close 8 years now. The initial draw for me was the ease of removal: just water and your fingertips- that’s it! I feel like Blinc gives me a bit more volume than Thrive, but I’m also using Thrive’s lash serum right now, so it’s hard to know. You absolutely will NOT regret using this tubing mascara. People have asked me if got really natural-looking lash extensions when I’m wearing it. This and Thrive are the only real tubing mascaras I’ve found. I’ve had people recommend others they say are tubing, but they have not been. I was so impressed with how nice it felt on my lashes and how, with nothing more that water, was so easy to wash off. Because I like a thicker lash, I decided to try a tube of the blinc Amplified Tubing Mascara and have not looked back. It is now my mascara of choice. I tried this on its own and was less-than impressed. It barely looked like I was wearing mascara. But I had ordered the primer to try with because I thought it might be useful and when it arrived, I noticed that the mascara was effective. This mascara is NOT very volumizing; I'd say it's similar to regular non-tubing mascara when used with the primer. But it is great for sensitivity and to use on days that you don't want to use other more dramatic mascara. I was having an allergy attack the other night and my eyes were burning and tearing up uncontrollably but I had a party to go to where I was a guest of honor; after using eye wash etc, I was thinking there was no way I'd be able to put on eye makeup for the party but decided to try out the blinc mascara. I was pleasantly surprised. It didn't irritate at all and I was able to go to the party without runny mascara or puffy eyes. I wear contacts and glasses often. Also, I get really tired of my mascara not coming off all of the way after I wash my face (sometimes multiple times), but this stuff comes off very easily, leaving me without any trace of raccoon eye effect. ... show more

I really love this as a back up for my other favorite brand, this one doesn't come off as quickly with teary eyes or humid conditions. I love the endurance it has and love that even if I don't wash it off it still looks really good the second day of wearing! I just wish it had a slight better volume element to it. I will not purchase this again. I didn't notice the change in the 'amplified' brush when I ordered. I have very fine hair/lashes, 60 years old. If I press hard enough to get any product on my lashes it's just a clumpy mess with product all over my skin. There is no mascara on the end of the applicator for fine application, just deep in the brush. I've been using Blinc for 20 years, love it! blincinc.com still sells the original brush applicator in original mascara. You can use your amazon account to check out! ... show more

The last time I ordered this it was not as liquid as previous orders and tended to clump on my eyelashes when I applied it. The last tube seems to work much better-- just need to make sure there are no clumps on the applicator when applying.
