    • Bluegill and Crappie love them!
Color: Assorted 3 Pk
I recently tried the Berkley PowerBait Crappie Nibbles Dough Fishing Bait and was pleasantly surprised by its effectiveness. As an avid angler, I'm always on the lookout for bait that not only attracts fish but keeps them hooked, and this product delivered on both fronts. Pros: Strong Scent Attracts Fish: The potent scent of the PowerBait Crappie Nibbles is irresistible to crappie and other panfish. It consistently drew bites throughout my fishing trip. Easy to Use: The dough consistency makes it simple to mold onto hooks or jigs without mess. It stays securely in place, even in strong currents. Long-Lasting: Unlike live bait, these nibbles stay on the hook for multiple casts, saving time and ensuring more time spent fishing rather than re-baiting. Versatile: While designed for crappie, I found it effective for other panfish like bluegill and perch as well. This versatility makes it a must-have in any angler's tackle box. Cons: Can Dry Out: If left exposed to air for extended periods, the bait can dry out. However, storing it properly in a sealed container or bag solves this issue. Overall, Berkley's PowerBait Crappie Nibbles exceeded my expectations. It's a reliable choice for anyone targeting crappie or similar fish species. Whether you're a beginner or seasoned angler, this bait is worth trying out for its effectiveness and ease of use. I highly recommend adding this to your fishing arsenal—you won't be disappointed! ... show more

I'm pretty new to fishing, but these Crappie Nibbles made it super easy to get started. They're simple to use, stay on the hook better than I expected, and the fish seem to love them. I’ve had a lot more bites since I started using these. Perfect for anyone just starting out and looking for an easy, effective bait. Definitely keeping a jar in my tackle box from now on. If you don't want to catch more fish don't buy these. They work great. They have a good smell to them for the fish. They also are a great value for the added fun they bring you.

Never caught a crappie using these for some reason. I have them stuck on the point of my hook with a soft plastic on a jig head. I catch fish without them but whenever I use no fish…

    • Defiantly makes a difference
Color: Glow/Chartreuse
I started using these several years ago after someone told me about them. My favorite way to use them is take a lead jig hook & tie it onto your line or leader, put a black and chartreuse tube jig on then take a Crappie Nibble and put it on the tip of the hook. I then let it free fall to the bottom (We fish in about 20 - 30 ft of water) and slowly reel up. You will feel a hard thump of a crappie taking the jig into its mouth and that's when you set the hook. Since the Crappie Nibbles are quite soft, they do not effect the hookset whatsoever, which is nice. Like someone else stated in their review, if you leave the lid off they will firm up a bit. While we still catch fish without the nibbles, they defiantly result in more bites when we use them. Enough so that I buy them yr after yr & that's saying something because I won't waste my money on products that don't work. I should also state that I have only used the chartreuse colors. Good luck & tight lines! ... show more
