The media could not be loaded. This space heater is very elegant and safe at the same time. The base carries some weight making a great tip over protection since its a tower model. I love the plastic handle on the top that is used to carry the device. It took me about 30 min to mount it together: instructions are very clear. This space heater has a very powerful output for its size. I don't use it for long in my living room, after a few mins I have to turn it off because of hw warm the space gets. I used this for an enclosed (but unheated) Florida room (but in Maryland, where it gets cold) on Thanksgiving. Since it's enclosed, we don't trust using a propane patio heater because we don't want to die of carbon monoxide poisoning, so electric is where it's at, and this thing came through. It puts out lots of heat, and fast. The second you turn it on it's at full-heat and radiating nicely. It's compact and light enough to be very easy to move around. It requires the smallest amount of assembly--just a couple of pieces to be screwed on. It's easy as pie and takes less than 10 min. ... show more

Personally, I got this for my garage to add a little heat to the area during the cooler months. I figured if this is supposed to be good enough for an outdoor patio, it should be good for my garage. Unfortunately, I needed to be pretty close to it in order to feel the heat. I don't think this is suitable for an outdoor space unless you are very close to it. However, it does put out heat pretty well so it's a great addition to an office space or other enclosed area where you want additional heat. It's sturdy and the remote works fine. It doesn't produce any noise and does turn off if it gets tipped. The timer works as expected and the large base does keep this nice and sturdy which is necessary given the height of this product. Overall, it works well, but personally I would only use it in enclosed spaces, or if you are working in close proximity to the unit. ... show more

    • I wanted to love this.
Ok so I had really high hopes for this heater. It does get hot but beyond that I pretty much hate everything else. First the remote is terrible, it just doesn’t work about 80% of the time. That wouldn’t be as big a deal if the controls on the unit itself were not at ankle level so you can’t see what each button does unless you’re on your hands and knees with your face nearly on the floor. Then let’s talk about the “Convenient” carry handle at the top, it’s just plain dumb. You screw on the plastic piece that looks like a small shelf. It’s almost the same size as the entire top of the unit and just looks strange, it’s also awkward to use because of the design. For the incredible price of $200 you too can have the most poorly designed heater I’ve ever seen. If they removed the shelf “Handle” at the top and put the actual controls up where they would be useful it might not be so bad but as it is now it’s a terrible design rendering it nearly useless. ... show more

According to the listing, the heater is waterproof, IP67 rated and can be used outside even if it's a rainy day. The instructions state to avoid rooms with showers, but the website claims that you can use it in the room when showering. The website states it has tip-over protection. When I tipped it, it did turn itself off. To turn it on, you press the mode button. Mode 1 is low (600 watts), Mode 2 is medium (1100 watts). Mode 3 is high (1500 watts). I used the timer. You can set it for 1-9 hours. I set it for an hour and it turned itself off appropriately. The instructions tell you to attach the washers but don't tell you what to attach it with (I can easily figure it out though). It comes with an Allen wrench but you will need a small Phillips head screwdriver as well. ... show more

This heater gives off good heat, but you have to be sitting right next to it to feel the heat. It would probably work better in an enclosed room as opposed to an open patio, which is what I bought it for. It says it is an outdoor heater, but I would only use it on a covered patio. The instructions to put it together are not great. They have pictures that are so small you really can't see what the parts are. Fortunately, I have experience in putting together items from China without clear instructions, so I was able to figure it out. It has a heavy base to help keep it upright. It is not so heavy that you can't pick it up to move it around. I do wish it had a handle to pick it up with, it would make it easier to move it around. It also took a month to arrive. It's fall. I really don't want to blast the heat. This is a great heater to warm a room.
