The media could not be loaded. I was a bit worried, since I accidentally bought an exhaust fan instead of a cooling fan, but we just mounted it backwards and it blows nicely! The downside is that ANY small shadow really reduces the blowing power, so even if a leaf were to fall on it, the speed decreases to the point of really not blowing at all. It was quick and easy to set up and with full sun and no involuntary shadows, it should serve its purpose well for us. ... show more

Review is for blessny 15W Solar Dual Fan Kit for Outdoor Chicken Coop, Solar Panel Powered Exhaust Fan... I have several of these type solar panel fan setups, so can compare directly to others. I was hesitant to order the 15w solar panel, and would have liked the 20w panel....BUT....I have to tell you this works great with the 15w panel that comes with it. Packaging was great. While it does come in a pretty plain brown box, both the panel and the fans will really packed well in the box with plenty of bubble wrap. Arrived completely fine, new in the box. The dual fans are mounted on an acrylic plastic plate, that you would then mount flat to what you are trying to pull air out of, like a shed or chicken coop. I am not using it for that purpose. Fully solar powered. Love that. Both fans are connected together, with one single on off switch, one wire connected to the solar panel. Some of these come with on off for each fan. I don't think its necessary. I compared this to another system with a 20w panel, and while both put out a good amount of air in very bright sun, I really couldn't tell the difference. Great setup and who doesn't like free power? The panel is easy to mount with the included bracket which you put on yourself etc. While there is no battery backup to ensure operation at night, this of course would only operate during the day and best operates at full sunlight, so the fans will ramp up to as high as they can depending on the amount of sun hitting the panel. ... show more

I bought these for my greenhouse to suck some of hte hot air our throught he window. With the face of the fan facing the out doors the fan blows hot air into the greenhouse. If I face the fans the other directions the wiring wil be exposed to outdoor elements and the fan blades will not be protected. ... show more

I have a backyard workshop that was getting a bit cramped so I added an extension onto it. I have a small window air conditioner but I needed some way to get the cool air into the extension. This fan and solar panel was the perfect solution. I mounted the fan above the door connecting the extension to the main room. The air conditioner is installed high on the wall right where the door is so the fan blows cool air through the doorway (see the photo). I used a temperature sensor switch I had along with a battery and charge controller so that the fan comes on when the temperature reaches the set limit. The fan does a good job of keeping the extension cool and costs me nothing thanks to the solar panel. The four fans move plenty of air and the small solar panel keeps the battery charged so the fans work even when the sun is not up. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This dual fan set works when the sun shines. I'll be using it to exhaust hot air from my pocket greenhouse during the heat of summer. The fans are obviously computer case fans. They are large enough to do the job, but their speed of operation depends entirely on the sun. You'll need to orient the good sized solar panel for the angle of the sun when your greenhouse, chicken coop or other enclosed space gets the hottest. Probably you need to point it to 1 or 2 o'clock, about 30 degrees from 0 degrees (top of the circle) so it gets the most power during the afternoon. The solar panel is about the size of a large book, and less than an inch thick except for the small black box in the center of the back, the power converter. I'm impressed! With full sun this thing really cranks! ... show more

The fan mechanisms appears to be backwards as we had to turn it around into feel any air. Regardless it aldoes not put out any air.
