I had this monitor for nearly 2 years! It worked wonderfully. Changed screens back-and-forth on its own. I felt like I had a good visual. Definitely just something good to make sure everything was okay through the night with my babies. They were in separate rooms and I could see both of them. I was able to rotate the cameras around the room. It didn’t really have any detection or anything like that, but the sound came through clear. Only reason I don’t have it anymore is because the main monitors battery exploded. Thankfully, no damage was done and no fire was started. I did keep it plugged in all the time, and never really moved it. Maybe that’s what caused it to bust. It was a great camera before, but the battery was not good for more than 2 years.

Before this I had a very expensive, name brand camera. It did us well for 4 1/2 years until the antenna snapped off. My son is getting older, so a camera isn't REALLY necessary anymore, but I found myself still wanting to watch when he first goes down, and early in the morning if I wake up before he does. So I started searching for a replacement when I came across this one. It had (almost) everything I was looking for but was skeptical.. there weren't a lot of reviews, all 5 stars. Though they are "verified" I have come to not always trust that as I have seen identical "verified" reviews on different products in the past. (Not on this one but like I said, skeptical). I also tried searching for other reviews elsewhere on the internet and didn't really come up with anything.. but for $70 (on sale) for 2 cameras and large monitor though I figured I would take the chance anyway. Worst case scenario I return it. Best case scenario I got a steal. Well, it has only been a few days now but I thought I would leave an honest review to help others finding themselves in a similar position. If anything changes, I will edit my review. It works, the cameras connected with no problem. The picture quality is a bit fuzzy, especially compared to the name brand one we had for so long, but I can see well enough. The quality kind of reminds me of the pictures you would take on your cell phone in 2006. Clear, but not crisp. Night vision works with similar quality. It works for me, I can see if he's awake and I can tell if he is ok or not. There is no zoom function, and the picture is the equivalent of the name brand monitor zoomed in. But again, I can see him just fine where I have it set up so thats all that matters to me. But just be warned it will be tricky to set up and have a clear view of the whole room. But as of now those are really the only down sides to this monitor, which don't really make a difference to me since it does not hinder me in any way from what my intentions are with it. What I am pleasantly surprised about is that there are actually a couple things I like better with this set than the name brand one. The monitor is twice the size, so even though its a little fuzzy I can still clearly see the picture even from a distance (for example, I have it sitting on a counter and I'm on the other side if the kitchen making coffee or something. I can look over and still see hes sleeping, which I couldn't with the other.) The other day I set up the second one in the living room while I went out to shovel the driveway. Doing the first half I was able to have the monitor sitting on something and I could hear and still see him. As I started the second half, closer to the road I put the monitor in my pocket so I could atleast still hear him. This brings me to the second thing I am impressed about with this monitor. With the name brand one I could barely get out the door outside without losing signal. In fact, the old one was so finicky with signal I would randomly lose it constantly no matter how close or far I was, even before the antenna started to get loose and eventually snapped off, never mind going outside with it (another plus btw, it doesn't have an external antenna so no worries of this one snapping off! Lol). Not once, even with it in my pocket, not even when I went across the street to clear my mailbox, I did not lose signal. The last thing that surprised me with this monitor is the microphone feature. With my name brand one, if I wanted to talk to him and hit the button it would mute the sound from his room while I was holding it. But I discovered that that is not the case with this one. I can still hear him talking even if I'm holding the microphone button which makes it a little easier to actually have a conversation with him that way if I need to. The range of how far the camera can turn is also impressive and actually exceeds the name brands abilities. This setup works perfect for us and our needs and was exactly what I was looking for. The picture isn't the best, and how zoomed in it is makes it difficult and sometime impossible to get a full view of a room, but not a deal breaker in the least. The areas that this actually exceeds the more expensive one more than makes up for where it lacks, including it coming with TWO cameras that I can view in a split screen if I choose where as the other only came with one. If you are in a similar position as me, or new parents on a budget, or anywhere in between I would certainly suggest this set up. For the price it can't be beat. I felt compelled to write this review to try to help others who are as skeptical as I was, and hopefully I have done just that.

Product works great and is easy to use. Very helpful having the option to switch back and forth between rooms or to split the screen to view both rooms at once. Customer service was also great for this company, we broke our monitor (not the fault of the company, we crushed it in our couch) and I reached out to the company directly to try to order a new one since Amazon doesn't have the option to order just the replacement monitor by itself without cameras. The company was quick to respond and sent us a completely new set for free even though the damage wasn't their fault, including two new cameras so we now have backup cameras in case one breaks. Overall very happy with the product and the customer service of the company selling this product!

I ordered this one, when the older version I had stopped working. This one the cameras are great and I can see the picture clearly. It has a long battery life. It’s easy to use and set it all up. The main thing that I have a complain about and why I couldn’t save 5 stars; is when I’m going back and forth between the 2 cameras the screen will freeze. It will stop switching and stop playing the sound from the camera. I have tried to reset the parent unit, but nothing has helped.

Update Edit: ( It's not working right anymore, only had it for less than 3 months. It started acting up losing signal randomly through the night even though our kids room is close to ours. Cameras turn off and can't rely on them. Sound not picking up when baby is crying even when it's set on sensitive mode.) original: Don't buy this thinking u can work it as easy as your smart phone. It's super old school where u can't control the volume from the sides of the console. To adjust the volume and anything else u have to manually go into a menu and select through the options and find what u want to adjust. In the middle of the night if u play a lullaby for your kid u will have to hear it on your end too and u can't select a timer for it to turn off automatically, not cool when u want to put the console down and go to sleep. Also my kids rooms are small about 12x12/15 and the zoom it has is ridiculous, u cannot view the entire room at all. The camera looks super zoomed in when its on the normal setting. Another thing that bothers me is that when im talking to one of my kids, the camera keeps automatically switching between the two rooms and it's so annoying having to constantly keep pressing buttons to go back. In my opinion, i feel this device is pretty outdated, i would find something more modern/advanced technologically. I do like that it's not hackable that is the only plus. Picture quality not the best but it does ok, same quality as the old kodak cameras that came with memory cards and batteries, nothing special.

The product itself works great and is worth every penny! We very specifically wanted a monitor that did not connect to Wi-Fi, and settled on this one because of the large wireless screen and two cameras that comes at an unbeatable price especially if you are able to get the $20 off discount. The monitor has several features that we use quite a bit such as the dual screen, temperature reader, and ability to move camera using the screen. The screen battery lasts several hours which is so nice because we sometimes forget to plug it back in at night and it will still have charge the next evening. Overall, I would highly recommend this monitor! Now onto the customer service. The Blemil company responds quickly to messages via Amazon which has been helpful in the past when we needed assistance connecting a camera. There is also an after market service that can be utilized via the email that is in the instruction manual. If you need any help do yourself a favor and reach out to them. They are kind, helpful and willing to go above and beyond to solve a problem. We had an issue with the screen that was ENTIRELY OUR FAULT and the after market service sent us a used (in perfect condition) screen for free. We were able to immediately connect our cameras. Like I said, reach out to them should you need any assistance with this product. They have truly made using an already great product an even better experience.

This system is amazing! The two cameras and split screen option is the absolute best, especially when my little ones are napping and my older children are playing in a different room. The range is awesome, so I can move around comfortably, knowing that I am still able to keep an eye on my loved ones. I love that it doesn't run on wifi, so I don't have to worry about losing connection if the wifi drops. The quality of the sound and video is great. The color and night vision is very detailed. You can't beat the price for what you get- well worth it! The customer service is also incredible! Easy to communicate and work with and they make sure your satisfaction is met. I've used a few other monitors in the past, but this one is superior in my opinion. I could not be happier with this system! Amazing! Highly recommend!!!

I was super excited about this when I first got it (less than a year ago). Once we started using both cameras it quickly went down hill. The monitor constantly glitches and gets stuck on one of the rooms. The problem with that is it not only doesn’t show or let you hear your baby in one room but it’s frozen on the one it’s stuck on!!! Also noticed that the battery isn’t staying charged which absolutely sucks having to almost constantly need it on a charger. Don’t waste your time with this get something else. My v tech single camera works better than this and I had it for 3+ years now. Thinking of getting their double camera.
