Edit: added pictures though I took them as gear began to get taken out. In taking stuff out I do believe that 6 adults on cots could make the space work with some gear and other stuff outside under the awning perhaps. Picture of tent up with rainfly might help to see how it should look on because that is most difficult part of build. **** Why did you pick this product vs others?: I never buy large priced products that do not have reviews but I liked the look of this tent, the space, and the awning. It was a leap of faith considering this was to be used the very next day we got it for a 3 night camping trip. How did it do? Unpacking and assembly: Very easy to assemble poles and organize parts. You should definitely do that as the directions are a 6-7 out of 10 but seeing the poles all organized by type on the ground made it easy. Actually putting up the tent took us 20 minutes but an easy 20. I believe the next time will be under 10 easy. The rainfly is the most difficult part in our opinion because it is substantial and well built. You will probably need to rotate it a few times when you get it up to line things up properly. This tent is well built. The bottom is made of a decently thick tarp like material. I have used tents with thicker bottoms but they were older. Most tents being made now are thin, which I don’t care for, so this one was an improvement over most I have seen recently. It will hold up if you are smart with placement or prep site a little. Poles are solid and will last. Rainfly is best I have used and I have used a lot of mid/low priced tents. Amazing quality. Plenty of windows and doors for ventilation and access. 4 doors! Amazing. Space: it says 12 person…you could fit 12 teens in sleeping bags for sure. Adults, not so much. 8 adults without cots would be fine. We were 2 adults, 1 teen, and a 10 year old. We all had cots. Plenty of room plus all our gear. So with cots four is comfy, 5 could work too, but more would not work using cots. So bare that in mind as it really depends on how you camp and use the space. Awning: this really provides a great covered space for cooking if it rains a little or setting up some chairs or even a table. Lots of uses here. In my opinion this is an amazing value that I can highly recommend. We only had very light rain and it handled that with ease. The rainfly is substantial so imagine it can handle much more. I usually spray seams etc with waterproofing but because we got this right before leaving I was not able to do that and there was barely any rain in the forecast.

First time camping and this tent did not disappoint. Two adults and three kids slept in it. I was panicking about the setup but it was easier than expected. Got windy the first night and it held its own. Only have used it once so can't speak on long term durability but so far very pleased.

I set this up in our garage before we went camping to figure it out and it went up fairly easily. Then we took it camping and WHAT A PAIN. It didnt seem to want to stand up. I don't know what I was doing wrong. The instructions are horrific. Add a couple more pages and help people out for godsakes. I can't remember what we finally did to get it to stand up but it did. We were camping in 32 degree weather and each night there was condensation on all of the walls and ceiling. We even tried cracking the roof vent. It came with this room divider thing but not the front awning that the picture shows going out over the front. We got the poles for it though. They also claim this is a 6 person tent. WRONG! My husband and I and our 2 dogs went and that is all would put in this tent. You might be able to fit 6 corpses but not 6 living humans who would have to move around, possibly get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom or anything. I would say absolute max of adults is 3. After we got home I was trying to set it up in the garage again to let it dry out and again, I couldn't get it to stand. It's like a baby giraffe trying to stand on fresh legs. Again, no clue what I'm doing wrong and the instructions are absolutely worthless. Also, companies.... you know how to fold your products up perfectly to get them to fit into your skin tight bags. We, the customer, when we are out in the woods, can't remember that. Give us a LITTLE more space in the bags these things are supposed to fit inside of but it is a PAAAAAIN to try and get this back in its bag when you are already exhausted and maybe trying to put it away in the cold or rain. Would I buy this one again? I don't know. It's certainly not as simple as it looks and when you add in being out in the woods trying to deal with it.... maybe a traditional tent with poles is easier.

This tent is big but there’s no way you can comfortably fit more than 8 people and still be able to walk in and out of it at night. Very tight. And no room for gear if you have 8 people in it. I can fit 5 people comfortably with gear in the tent. Very well constructed and easy to set up.

This tent has been used for 6 trips so far one where we had a nasty storm with 60mph winds. The tent was laying almost on top of us but it did not blow away or rip! We did get a little wet but made it through. Its well made and easy to put up. I love that one side completely opens up but also had a full screen that can be zipped open. Gives a great view from inside. Zippers have held up just fine. Designed well for ease of use. Only leaded during our storm.

We woke up at 2 am to an ant infestation chewing us to pieces. They are coming in through the power slit near the door of the tent. My partner and I have over 50 ant bites each and have to wait 4 hours for a store to open to go buy a replacement tent. I was in the hospital yesterday over an allergic reaction to a different type of ant and now this. I have bites on every single part of my body including my face from this infestation. It is very painful and annoying. My face is a swollen disgusting mess from this and just in time for the 4th of July. I will note we have not had any food in our tent, we always ate far away from it. I have camped my entire life for months on end and I have never experienced anything close to this. My face is swollen from the many bites and there are fluids coming out of some of the bites. The zipper to the door is also ripping off the tent after very gentle use for a week. Do not buy this tent unless you want to experience what we are. It is now 3 am and we cannot fight off this infestation. We have no idea what we are going to do until the store opens at 6. No sleep for us! What a nightmare.

This tent was awesome. Exactly what I wanted with two seperate rooms so we could leave our equipment and shoes in one side and have a nice, clean sleeping area in the other. The setup instructions were very easy to follow, even with a 3 and 9 year old kids helping. We'd even gotten rained on and everything was nice and dry inside. Even love the color.
