Learning to tattoo so this was a good practice material to use however I found it hard to clean even after using Vaseline , it’s thinner than expected but still helped with depth . All came packed individually

So I’ve been tattooing for a little while now but always feel that I’m always learning and will always need the practice no matter if I’m tattooing every day or not (I tattoo every single day) This skin holds the tattoo well but at first I was put off by the way it held on to the excess ink and seemed to stain, after using soap and water and alcohol I was boggled until something told me to just use a dab of petroleum jelly “Vaseline” and rub it in. It worked and I was able to enjoy the practice experience with no issues. At first I did find it to be a bit thin but used it to my advantage, if you see in the pic on the reverse side of the skin only some lines show through on the backside which I felt was because I went too deep(my fault). All in all as long as you use paper towels and Vaseline you will be very happy. I would suggest drawing your artwork on with a red pencil and then rub the Vaseline in very good before you start and then dab with bounty to clean excess ink, once you are done you can rub in again and then wipe. Hope this helps!

For practice skin, this stuff is pretty good. My only real complaint is that I wish it was twice as thick but otherwise good product. As a tattoo apprentice, ive been able to do some cool stuff with this skin, however due to how thin it is, it is not effective to use if not familiar with appropriate needle depth bc its so much thinner than human skin. But great price for the quality and ive purches this product 3x.

These are okay. They're barely 3mm thick. The silicone is hard so there is a lot of resistance for tattooing and the ink doesnt stay saturated in the lines like it would in human skin. Its good if you need lots of blank practice material and just want to build a stronger muscle memory for line work.

got these as my first fake skins when i bought my machine and i HATE them so much. they’re a pretty terrible quality silicone and very matte. they hold ink on the surface and it’s impossible to get it off, which is crazy cause i can barely get a stencil to really stay on it, yes i let it dry and used vaseline as a layer on top to protect it. maybe its because im using practice ink which is basically paint idk. the skin also rips pretty easily when lining. i actually just use them for crafts now, they’re good for when im using resin or a hot glue gun, but not tattooing. totally don’t recommend.

Good skins. Nice thickness. A lot for your money=great deal. Ive used other skins but these are my preferred skins. Im a hobbyist so Im learning depth and these show through when I go to deep so Im learning about blowouts. Great skins for practice. Keeps stencil clear but let them dry for a day or less before inking them otherwise the stencil smears. Works well with blue soap. Kinda grabby if you go to deep and the edges are hard to hold down to ink. I will buy again.
