I have a bedroom that I use for an office and have been looking for a way to get the windows covered to keep out daytime glare on my monitors. I also have an AC unit and separate fan mounted in the window so can't just pull the curtain or lower the blinds. I had been using some foam core boards cut to fit the window sections, but tended to fall down, and weren't convenient to remove when I did want light. This blackout sheet works great and with the velcro I can just pop off the panel I don't' need blacked out at the moment and roll it off to the side. The sheet is plenty big enough for a large window or a few smaller ones, and the velcro has very sticky backing. I expect the silver backing to reflect a fair bit of heat in the summer, a lot more than the black foam core I was using before. ... show more

    • Everything you need...with one improvement wished for
I really like this product. I'm a night shift person so light in my room is an issue while I sleep. I was able to completely seal off light from my window with this. It comes with PLENTY of velcro so you can stick them up very throroughly. My room is on the west side of the house and gets full sun in the evening and gets hot. I can't wait until summer to see how much of a difference the reflective coating will make. Gonna get more for other rooms. ... show more

Works great in a bedroom that isn’t needing any natural light in. It was super easy to cut it down to the sizes needed & seems to adhere really well
