These were extremely simple to install. I used them as an inside mount looks cleaner. I went with a beige color and what I got in the box was beige. Color was accurate. Matched my vanilla walls and sectional plus carpet. Was perfect for me. These were a lot cheaper then those at lowes/Home Depot and fashionable for my living room. They are light filtering and you do have a choice of choosing either side. The back of them is white and they are reversible meaning you can flip them. My living room is a decent size and I love having the morning sun lighting up the room without the heavy sun shining into my face. These did the job very well! Will recommend!

This is a review for the Blackout Cordless Window Shades Cellular Honeycomb Shades Room Darkening Pleated Blinds for Windows in blue. I had looked at them in the winter, to keep out the wind, but was worried that they looked like they were made of paper. When they went on sale, I bought two for my kitchen, where I'd had roman blinds before (which had cords and broke), and assumed I'd have to ask someone to help me install them, since I don't have a power drill. But the bracket holes lined up with one hole on each side that had already been drilled for the old shades, so I just put in the screws to hold in the brackets, then popped the shade into the bracket (it will make a snapping sound when it's in place). I just use the white bottom part to pull them down or push them up; I didn't bother putting on the little plastic pull handle. And I love them! They do keep the summer sun out on hot days, and most likely since the side facing the window is white, they aren't absorbing the heat. The fabric is extremely thin and feels like paper. The description says the shades aren't water-resistant, so I'm careful to be sure not to have the window open below the shade, so they won't get wet when it rains. They look great and keep out all of the sun, since I bought them large enough to hang outside the frame of the window. I don't know if they're durable, but hope so, since they look very nice. Strongly recommend.

Easy to install, affordable, looks nice. Our first one broke after a few months (out of return window). The string inside snapped. However we did order another because we just loved it so much. Works perfect for our bathroom window.

Exactly as shown. I have these Allesin shades, (two 46 inch wide, beige-white blackout shades side by side) in a large window and they are just as pictured and so easy to use. Just a light touch on the clear plastic handle in the center of the bottom of each shade moves the shade up or down. My husband installed these the day they arrived before I got home and he says they are super easy to install. I was reluctantly to part with my old metal venetian blinds I had in this spot until I found my doggie caught and choking on the cord! I ordered these blinds that day and I am really happy with them after using them over a week. They block the light better than my old venetians. I am amazed at the reasonable price on these too . And NO CORD to worry about. They are exactly as shown. It seems getting new blinds isn’t such a complicated or expensive thing anymore. Nice.

Well made and easy to install. Will likely buy more, but these are nicer than the other shades I already have - noticeably nicer so much they wouldn't match the others. Put two of the room darkening ones in a sunny room and they look great and lowered temperatures in the room.

I replaced my bedroom blinds with the Allesin Blackout Room Darkening Shades. The shades themselves are great. I would give them a 5 star rating except that they could not be hung properly. I have installed many shades in my time. I needed to install the shades with ceiling mount brackets. There were two problems with the supplied brackets (see old bracket photo), the first problem is that the bracket could not be ceiling mounted because it was not universal (ceiling or wall mount) it could only be used for wall mount. I added holes so that it could be ceiling mounted. The snap into place mount was very poor and did not hold well. The shade fell off of the bracket when lifting it up or down 5 times in the first few weeks after installation. Luckily, I shortly after installing the shades I replaced some old similar shades that I had in the rec room. After taking the old brackets off I noticed that they would fit the Allesin shades. I replaced the brackets that Allesin supplied and they hold perfectly (see photo new bracket). It makes me wonder if the manufacturer ever mounts the shades that they sell.
