Everyone knows the heat wave that the entire United States is experiencing right now. In Philly it’s hovering about 95° feeling like 110°! My roof skylight in my bathroom gets stifling hot. As soon as I received this product, I quickly measured and cut out the right size with scissors. The magnets were a bit too much for me (they really do not make sense when you see them in person). I also tried command strips and they would not stick to the fabric. I just used oversize clear thumbtacks. I only tacked the four corners, and my bathroom and my hallway upstairs went down by 5°! It’s not unsightly like some of these products normally are. I also cut a piece same as mine for my 75 year old neighbor, and hung a bag with some of this fabric and thumbtacks on his door. I had to air this out for a week outside before I could use it. The sticky park of the Velcro patches is super sticky. I ended up just using command strips because I have now idea if this would ever come off the wall. All in all it blocks out the light but getting their is a bit hard.

This is the best thing I live in az and it’s so hot right now I got this looking for relief and it worked perfectly I don’t recommend using the sticky velcro I didn’t stick it to my windows due to heat I figured it wouldn’t stick but apparently my walls get just as hot because it kept falling off almost like it’s melting but I removed it and used push pens and made sure to pull it tight and stick it into studs not wall so it would hold it worked great my house looks like it’s dark outside and it’s much cooler and looks a lot better to the eye then foil or other things recommended so happy with this product ... show more
