So happy with my 3dsxl. I decided to buy one at the perfect time. I ended up getting very sick only a few days after my 3dsxl arrived and was bedridden for almost 2 weeks! I have a ps vita which I love and a nintendo switch but there are so many amazing games on the DS platform that no other console has and I have had a blast playing them. The unit arrived on time and packaged well. It had everything the listing showed and it was all brand new and factory sealed. The XL screen is very nice. It is much larger than the screen I remember on the one I got as a gift for someone else years back and it makes text easier to read. I can see why this console has stood the test of time and why they are still making exclusive games for it. I wish they could make all these games for the switch but with the 2 screens I see why its not possible. I can't really complain though because I love this handheld. Mine came with a sold seperately charger as a bundle and if I had a complaint it would be that. Im sorry Nintendo but you are not hurting for money so bad that you have to gouge your loyal fans new or old (im old and been there from the begining lol) over a stupid charger. Their excuse was they wanted previous owners not to have to pay extra for a charger when they bought a new version of a handheld they already owned. Ummm that is a seriously lame excuse, if they were serious did they not even think that those chargers could be like 8 years old already haha, anyway I call nonsense! The 3d works great but I tend to use 2d most of the time if not always. I just prefer it, but its nice to have if I want to use it. If you never owned a 2ds or 3ds then you are missing out, especially if you like nintendo games, there are so many games available for 2ds/3ds. If you want to save a few bucks and dont care about 3d then just get the 2ds because all 2d/3d games work on both systems, if you buy a 3d game and use it in a 2ds you will just see it in 2d. I do however advise getting the "NEW XL" version of either system, your eyes will thank you for the larger screen. Oh and it has Amiibo inside the system now!!! Yay!! Just set your amiibos on the bottom screen to activate them!

What a sweet deal! Yes, this IS the New 3ds XL. The product name doesn't mention "New", but the pic and product description confirmed it. I almost skipped this because the title didn't say "New". Glad I didn't. For little more than what it would cost for the Nintendo plus adapter you pretty much get 2 free games. Super Smash Bros still sells for $30-40, depending on where you buy it, and Ocarina for $15-20, so I definitely got my money's worth. Glad I didn't buy it at the store last week... I was so close. ***UPDATE*** I got this for about $200, I've noticed the price is getting higher, so probably not as good a deal now as it was last summer.

When I opened it there were fingerprints and hairs inside of it and the device had not been factory reset. There was a good bit of information on the past owner, luckily no credit card info had been saved on the device. It works fine but I won't be buying anything from them again.

Great bundle, but if you're on a budget you might want to wait a bit. A price cut to the 3DS is undoubtedly coming soon. Support is effectively over - there's a few more games being localized currently, but nothing new will be announced for it. Nothing wrong with this or anything - the 3ds has had a long lifespan and has an excellent library, and it is absolutely worth picking one up. But Nintendo has moved on to the Switch, and expect a price slash soon to help push the remaining stock.

Love this bundle it's almost perfect!! Only thing is I can't remember if it offered a warranty. If they did I would've bought it! Over all the 3DS XL is awesome!! I love the color and the fact it came with two games and a decent charger. Happy I bought it as a gift to my son who was thrilled. If he's happy so am I. Great buy!
