I've never installed a screen protector before, let alone one with an anti-glare coating, but this worked like a charm in all aspects. Installation was foolproof - the package came with a 3-step screen cleaning kit, a perfectly-sized guide frame, and a backup screen protector for redundancy. Following the instructions, I got it placed flawlessly on my screen first-try with very little fuss. I was concerned about the protector affecting image quality, but once I put it on it looked great. The screen seems to blur the pixels together slightly which is not a bad thing at all. I *slightly* increased the brightness and saturation to compensate and was very satisfied. Overall, the anti-glare effect is also a great quality-of-life addition. The screen is now not as much of a fingerprint magnet as before and the image isn't as affected by environmental light. The touch screen works just like before and I can rest easy that my screen has a layer of defense. Highly recommended!

Despite this, I still highly recommend this screen protector for its anti-glare functionality, with a word of caution regarding the guiding frame. First and foremost, the screen protector itself is of excellent quality. It effectively reduces glare, allowing for a clear and vibrant display. I was impressed with how it minimized reflections and provided a more comfortable viewing experience. Additionally, the surface is easy to clean, and fingerprints are minimal, maintaining the screen's pristine appearance. The media could not be loaded. I got the anti-glare screen. It’s hard to show how well it works outside in bright sun since I don’t have the before images. I couldn’t even see the screen outside, even in the menu was hard to read. Now it’s easy to see and enjoy games outside. The installation was very easy, the product arrived with cleaning clothes and steps to clean, the screen just popped on over the yellow marker and basically pushed the air out mostly by itself. Very happy!

Previously, I held reservations about matte screens. However, after installing matte screen protectors on my iPhone and iPads, I felt compelled to do the same for my Steamdeck OLED. To my surprise, I noticed no significant impact on clarity, color, or brightness. The only notable change was the complete elimination of all reflections, which is truly remarkable. Although the installation process was slightly more challenging than anticipated, this was primarily attributed to a slight warp in the installation frame provided. Consequently, I had to manually reposition the screen protector while gently lifting it. Despite this minor setback, the outcome was flawless. As a practical tip for those installing matte screen protectors, if you encounter a small bubble, use your thumb to apply gentle pressure while simultaneously rubbing the area. This technique should effectively remove the bubble, provided it is not caused by a speck of dust. I personally encountered a similar issue and required approximately 10 minutes of persistent pressure and rubbing to successfully remove the bubble. It is unfortunate that many individuals simply apply a screen protector without attempting to rectify any imperfections, labeling the device as defective. However, with a bit of effort and patience, it is possible to successfully remove any bubbles, ensuring a flawless finish. Having experienced the benefits of matte screens, I have no intention of ever opting for a glossy finish again. Have a wonderful beautiful people!
