These are totally worth it. The quality is good and the quantity will last a year if not more. We used them with child safe scissors and a spray bottle and we were able to stick them on the window (with water as the adhesive) and make decorations! We used cookie cutters to cut out cute fall shapes like a bat, but you could also abstract or le avant garde art with geometric and squiggly shapes.

I may be a little biased because my cosplay (which I'm not finished with yet) needs a LOT of foam, but I did find the quantity of foam in this product to be lacking. The quality is amazing though, somewhat soft and bendy, easily cut with scissors but can take a good punch and be fine.

I like the white better because it is easier to draw on when making EVA foam cosplay stuff. It is large, so it likely won't fit in the mailbox. Once unrolled it can be flattened to store behind a bookcase or other flat object. Sturdy foam, so make sure you have a sharpened utility cutter!
