Following the instructions when rinsed off it looked just like our new filters and I didn't have to soak them it was done in mins. Definitely recommend this product for your filters needs. Have ordered more and will save money from buying new filters.

Easy to use, gets the job done and smells great. I spray our pool filters down with this product and let sit for about 5 or 10 minutes. Makes the job easier and seems to get the dirt and grime out more quickly. Oh and it smells great. I used it on my DE filter grids. They are about 6-7 years old. I was hoping this would really clean them and get rid of some of the stains. While it did get rid of some stains, the big ones are still there. It did clean the grids though. It actually turned the de I rinsed off a weird brown color on the ground and the residue on my grids was brown. It rinsed right off. I think had I done another round it would have worked better. The bottle says to leave it sit for 5 minutes, but some of the grids sat for much longer as I started washing them after 5 minutes. It didn't seem to make a difference on those grids vs the ones that sat for ~5 minutes. Overall, I will definitely use again. It just wasn't as powerful as I had expected. If you're filter is still running high pressure after cleaning the grids with just water, then try this stuff. It fixed our problem and I was finally able to clear the pool. ... show more
