This needs a lot of sand or water in the base to stabilize it, which is something to think about with winter coming up. This was super easy to set up. My teen and I did it together. This isn't as tall as a regulation hoop, but it's still a good height and it's adjustable, so my nephew can use it. My son's a teen and the nephew is in elementary school. I like the adjustable feature so that everyone can have fun playing. I think that this is good for kids and adults. We had a Halloween party and the adults had more fun than anyone else playing basketball. Everyone was happy and busy and this held up against a group of half drunk adults acting look loons, so I think it's pretty darn sturdy, lol. I feel this is worth the price. I think we're going to get a lot of use out of it, so I'm very happy to have it. It's a pain to move once filled, so pick your spot with care.

I ordered the 32 inch backboard and the hoop that extends to 7.5 feet. It took me about 30 minutes to assemble and upon completion I notice that I placed the hoop facing the same direction as the base but the picture in the instructions shows it in the opposite direction - not sure if I agree with that as it seems very top heavy to begin with. Instructions say to add water to the base or sand and while I was going to add sand that we have on hand, I quickly realized that I did not have enough. The recommend minimum amount of sand recommended is 72 pounds!!! Since I do not want to fill it with water as cold weather is coming, I decided to disassemble until I can figure the sand thing out. That said, it is extremely top heavy but if you figure out the stability aspect of it, the basketball set seems to be good quality and is really tall for a standalone hoop - it's a major upgrade from the kiddie ones. I will say that for the first step of the instructions where you are inserting the thin bar through the base for the wheels and the bottom pole, you will need a hammer to get it in there and once you place the bottom pole on it, you will not be able to remove it, so once I disassembled it, I now have a base with a pole on it to store. (see pics for clarity). Overall a very nice looking set, just know that you will have to secure the base with water or sand for safety.

The media could not be loaded. This portable basketball hoop has been loads of fun for the whole family. The hoop can be set to a lower height making it easier for the young kids to make their shots. The hoop can be extended to a height of 6’9 to make it more challenging as they grow up. The size is perfect for the kids to practice and progress in performance. The hoop was relatively easy to assemble with two people. It would’ve be extremely challenging to set up on my own. The hardest part of the assembly was the hoop. One person will need to hold the hoop in to place against the board, while the other screws the bolts against it. The bolts have self locking nuts which is great because they are less likely to come apart over time. The back board is strong and hasn’t broke yet. The hoop fits a standard size basketball. The base of the stand can be filled with water or sand to ensure it doesn’t tip over when the basketball hits against the board. One feature I love about this stand is the portability. I am able to lean the stand over and easily roll it to a new location. This has been very convenient as sometimes we need to change locations to escape the harsh sun rays. I am very satisfied with the quality of this product. It has brought the whole family together numerous times to enjoy shooting some hoops.

This was easy to set up and is easy to move around to where I need it. It's built well and is stable when sand (what I use) or water is used in base. Great to have to play with. Very happy with it!

I ordered this to get the family outside and having fun exercising. This is a nice quality portable basketball hoop and didn't take too long to put together. Great for kids and adults but anyone over 6 feet tall will complain it's too short even when you have it on the 6'9 setting. But that's just our tall family. It has held up through several rain storms. Very happy with my purchase!
