This was bright enough to fully light my early morning runs in late fall on dark roads. Full charge diminishes after several hours, but recharging takes almost no time. Would recommend for those who need to be out early/late with a strong headlamp.

I run in the early-morning hours when it is pitch black out. Most of my run is through neighborhoods, but there’s a stretch that is a busy road that I must run on the sidewalk. The road has street lights. They light up the street not the sidewalks. I’ve run into tree branches, sprinklers, and run over pinecones and sticks, twisting my ankle. This headlamp does a great job. I was able to put it on full bright during the dark stretch and tap it to dim it during the neighborhood runs where it’s dark between street lights. I was actually able to run faster because I didn’t have to be so careful where I was placing my feet. Not sure about battery life but not too worried about that since most of my run it is on the lower brightness and I plan to charge every other run. ... show more
