    • Started a fire first time I used it
Be careful w ith the air fry feature and basket. I had something drip and hit the heat guard, starting a fire. The air fry is only at a super hot temp 450 degrees so can def burn things than my ninja air fryer. That lets me set the temp manually.

    • Compact versatile machine
Small size is perfect for most kitchens, although the inside cavity needs to be a bit bigger. To get a bigger inside you have to go with a bigger unit that is almost too big. I'd prefer to be able to remove the crumb tray externally, but this unit is small enough to tilt when removing tray. Toasts well. I setup machine & turned to bake at 350 degrees. I'd ready this is best to do to burn off any lingering coatings. It smelled funny for a few minutes, but then things were normal again. Temp got up to 350 but after 30 minutes my thermometer showed almost 400. So you'll need to watch if you're baking something that depends on a certain temperature. It did hold it's temp which is a big plus. ... show more

    • Nice machine but the owner's manual leaves a lot to be desired.
I really like the machine and have used it to make toast, bagels, hot dogs and steaks so far (I've only had it three days). My one complaint is the owner's manual. I had to go on line to find out how to cook the bagels, hot dogs and steaks. There is also no trouble shooting section. The steak was tender and cooked well (filet mignon five minutes on each side for rare) but it looked grey, so if looks count, don't cook steak on air fry. It would be nice to have a light inside, but not a show stopper since this is a smaller sized unit, which was one of the reasons I bought it. I live alone and didn't want to give up counter space for something if I really didn't need to. ... show more

This tiny little toaster oven fits on top of my mini microwave cart in my minvan camper just right. Doesn't pull too much power but cooks everything so nicely. Love the air fry option that works like a dream. Have had to Google more recipes because the book that comes with it leaves out a lot but still have found ways to do things. I've made bacon, chicken thighs and salmon. Sweet potatos air fried and baked. Toast and rice with quinoa. It does heat up the minivan which is great in winter. Will just be outside in summer while it's on. It is a great little appliance to have for all around cooking and does cook faster than a bigger oven. We had an old, white Black & Decker toaster oven and loved it. But it was time for a new one. After reading reviews, we settled on this one. We absolutely love it! Not one bit disappointed. We seldom write reviews unless they really earn it -- bad or good. We figure well-built products at a reasonable price should get kudos, sop we are writing. We do not use it to make toast. We have a regular toaster. So we can't vouch for that. But it has done EVERYTHING ELSE we have asked it to do in the month we have had it - use it almost every day for baking something. It works just like they say it will. And the air fry setting is fantastic! Crisp but not greasy. Want a little oven like your old Black & Decker? This is it, only it is actually better! ... show more
