Works well when the critter happens upon it. But don't let anything you don't want to get glued down touch it, it's difficult to turn loose. My neighbors dog stepped on one once, it was frightening to him, but I used goo gone on his foot, it melted the glue and came right off, then had to clean the glue residue from his foot. These are large in size and have a super sticky glue that won’t let go. I went ahead and purchased the 12 pack of these which should last for a while. For the price and size of these you can’t go wrong.

Convenient, easy and mostly effective. I used a bucket of water to finish them off. A few traps had paw prints in them but no catch! They began to avoid the traps after while. I had to use snap traps, electronic, and a non toxic bait. Rats are smart! Looks like they moved on, as no more traces of the rodents. Down side of glue traps, they catch anything. ... show more

My little fuzzy foe was able to escape but not before flailing about and getting the trap caught all in the carpet and somehow also collecting a hair tie and a post card?! Not sticky enough to catch a mouse but I am so glad my carpet did not get away!
