This appliance is very good looking on my counter. I was so excited to finally have an actual toaster again instead of a touchy air fryer/toaster/baker/broiler that I immediately reached for a couple slices of Ranch-Stlye white loaf. I set it the way I thought I’d like, put the slices into the slots and pushed the button to begin toasting. (I’ll say here that the button felt very flimsy, of only adequate usage and unlikely to hold up more than a few years.) When the toast popped up, the bread was toasted but it wasn’t toasted to the top of the slice. There was about half an inch from the top of the bread that wasn’t toasted at all. I’m very disappointed, as for the past 50+ yrs, my family has made a point of buying Black&Decker appliance. I am finally not pleased with one of their products. If you prefer your bread slice toasted to all corners, I would keep looking. ... show more
