i needed to replace the B&D mixer i had for 10 years. they no longer had that model. this new one is much heavier and loud. the low speed is too fast for dry ingredients to mix without "dusting" the kitchen. the motor is so loud it disturbs anyone trying to listen to the t.v. the storage case is nice but too big for where i store the mixer. i am keeping it because i live in a rural are with limited shopping . just hope i get used to using it.

I've only used the slowest speed, which is too fast for mixing dry ingredients. Otherwise it seems to work fine, but I have trouble mixing dry ingredients without a big mess.

I am very pleased with this purchase! The mixer is not loud, it does the mixing perfectly. I have used the dough hooks which are very good. I highly recommend this product.

Most favorite thing... is the case to keep all the attachments in! I bought as second one to use with product making and for things non food related. Has worked perfectly - right amount of power. I recommend.

I hate to sound harsh or be rude but I have to be honest. I did purchase this used and in good condition, so I was fully aware there would be maybe some imperfections to it etc; but when I received it, it was dirty and hadn’t been cleaned, the dough beaters had rust on them; and it was completely missing the regular beaters! I cleaned it up as best I could- plugged it in to see if it’d e en work and the fan that is in the front of it- is extremely loud, louder than normal. I felt the product I got was way past good condition and ok its last leg. Idk if this was Amazon’s doing or someone else falsely described the condition of this product but I would think Amazon would check that. If so, Amazon failed to make sure all pieces were in the original packaging with the product and that’s disappointing. I had to send it back and will be ordering a completely different mixer. I wouldn’t say I don’t recommend this product - just simply saying I’d never purchase this used. Buy it new. I still will be purchasing a different mixer because I found this one to be extremely loud. Hope this is helpful. Sorry, Amazon and Black and Decker. I failed to take a picture of the one I received because after unboxing and cleaning and checking for the pieces etc; I immediately put it right back in the box and took to the UPS store a few days later.

Arrived on time, BUT for no reason UPS did not delivered the item to my home where it was supposed to. When I bought it I select my address for the delivery of the item, this was not follow. The mixer is Amazing, is not heavy, easy to use and clean. I love it and recommend it.

Depending on your perspective: Mixes cake batter very quickly, makes it nice and fluffy. Are use it mostly to knead dough. Works best on higher hydration does such as sourdough and ciabatta’s, I Use it for Higher hydration pizza dough. When I drop dehydration below 65 seems to struggle a little bit but I use an up-and-down motion method to keep the motor from sounding like it’s struggling Especially when the gluten tightens up. I hand need at this time. I also rest a machine Every 30 seconds because I’m not sure what the motor can handle. I believe it will last long if I keep doing it this way and it still saves a lot of time and effort. I also like the plastic case it comes with. Comes with two Dough hooks two beaters and one whip The other perspective : It’s loud but it’s supposed to be. Right arm gets tired working through dough. If attachments fall out switch sides and it will work, they can be inserted wrong . No other complaints
