This is my second stool from this company. The first one I have had for 3+years, and continues to hold up great with lots of use. The second one I ordered came without the screws, but I was sent out a new order right away, the next day. I love how easy it was to put together, in 10 mins only, and I hate assembling things! I'm a music teacher and bought this to sit on while teaching my young classes that sit on the floor. After a week of use (myself only, no students) I noticed a wheel was bending inward, making the stool unstable. Upon inspection, I saw the soldering was weak and very thin in one of three connection points, and detached in completely in one. Today I sat on it for just a moment, and the wheel snapped off. For the record, I am not a large person 150 pounds only.
