Very well packages for shipping. There was not even a dint in the gutter box the seller had put the pretty box in. The designs on the pretty box matched at the side where the lid fit on so that is a good gift box or one to be reused for something else. The cat designs also match on both sides = teapot to cup matching perfectly. The cup is a little wide so the teapot/cup balance well even when the pot is full. The hot water warms the cup up while the tea is brewing so the tea stays warmer in both the cup and the pot longer than I expected. I did find it better the move the full pot in one hand and then to replace it in the cup rather than trying to carry them both stacked together. Really enjoying this. ... show more

This is a beautiful tea set with a nice size cup. To gift, you wouldn't even need to wrap the box because it is so pretty. I hope this lasts me for many many years. That's how much I love it. I even bought a set for my friend and she loves it just as much as I do.

The teapot came packed in three different boxes to avoid breakage. Peacock is a family name and the teapot is decorative when not in use and practical when used. It is large enough for a healthy cup of tea while working at my office desk. Love it!
