  • Piece of junk
Update to the below review (2/18/26) - This item has turned out to be a piece of junk. It's been updated to the latest firmware and it worked for the first 12 hours or so, then it kept trying to re-boot and couldn't re-connect to my wifi. For several days I unplugged it for several hours at a time and it would finally connect, but then it would only stay connected for a few minutes. I've tried re-booting it manually, but it won't re-broadcast a wi-fi for me to connect and reconfigure it again. Now when I hold the reboot button on the back, it just keeps trying to reconnect to my wifi and it fails. It won't even run anymore. I finally just threw it out and am thankful I only lost $25 or so on the purchase. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL! ================= Like most other people, I had a problem first setting it up and it wouldn't process past the first 80% to connect. I had to do a flash update of the firmware. If you need to do that as well, I recommend searching for a youtube video by MinerManUSA. I also had trouble assembling the unit because they didn't send all of the correct screws. Only two of them fit (I only received two longers screws; the others were all short), so I only have two screws holding the plates in place. Not a big deal as it still works, but very frustrating. This is what you get when you order products made in China though. ... show more

  • nerdy fun
I primarily got this to teach my son about bit coin mining. First things first, this is a lottery and you will likely not mine anything at all. That said it's great and educational to link it to a pool and see how things work. It's low power and works great!

  • Pretty cool but takes some work.
I’m new to these and I tried setting this up and It kept getting stuck at 80%. Trying to verify the pools that it had pre set into it. I tried changing them to many different ones and none of them worked. After much research and trial and error. I ended up having to re flash the unit and update the software. Tried several different versions and now it’s finally working after 2 1/2 days of messing around with it. Just took allot more time and effort than I initially thought. Once it’s up and running it’s pretty cool though. ... show more

  • $25 POS
I bought this just as a desk display but it will not upload past 80%. I have reboot it 3x and reset it 1x. No tools are provided. No instructions. Waste of money. I’ll be returning it today. Take your own advice and “Make it better”

  • Using for crypto mining experiment
Purchased this to add to my array of experimental BTC lottery miners. Flashed with MNminer and connected to public pool. These ESP32-2.8 Display development boards are easy to set up for instruction and functional use. Looks good for the money and works as expected.

  • Pretty cool little device and project for entry level BTC mining
Takes a bit to setup but once you figure it out and put in your wallet address and update the firmware to the newest it works. Set up internet first then type the ip address into your browser to connect to it for initial setup. There are a few YouTube videos for easier instructions.

  • OK, but not great
This is a fun novelty and conversation piece. One Major issue, is the wife connection once it is established to your network doesn't change anything. i had mine working for a few days, had to move it accross my office and it would not connect after re plugging it in again, the resets dont really work all that great and there are next to no instructions included or on the web. It seems a lot of people who bought this have the same problem. Botom line it you purchase this, do npot make any changes. ... show more
